I just started level 2. It's a good workout so far, but if you're use to doing a different routine every day (ala p90x/insanity) it may get boring doing the same thing every day for 10 days straight. I'm having that problem. Also, her warm up and cool down are seriously lacking. So you may want to schedule some extra time…

I started this past Wednesday. Took a rest day yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't take pics or measurements (I was just excited that I felt good enough to get some exercise in beyond walking my dogs, and jumped right in), but I've noticed huge differences in the way that my body feels already. I will have to get that stuff…

I definitely take that week off, every month. There is no possible way that I can workout through my period. I've tried, I've gotten yelled at, I've even nearly lost jobs due to my heavy, painful periods. It's sucky. You SHOULD go see a gyn soon, just to rule out anything major. Most will work with you on payments. I don't…

I do it barefoot. It actually provides a more natural jump and landing (for all that plyo) which makes it easier on not just the knees, but also the hips and back. This is what you're feet were designed for! They need a stretch and workout, too. Plus, I hate shoes so...

I usually split up the cardio, use it as a warm up and cool down so to speak. Then I slip the weights in the middle. But really, you have to find what works for you.

I love how all these people are commenting that GIVING a professional, deep tissue massage isn't work! BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! They are obviously NOT massage therapists and have no idea what they're talking about. If you're doing it properly (ie using your whole body, like you should) you should be burning ridiculous calories.

So much inspiration! I am totally and outside girl but this makes me miss the gym, if you can believe that!

8 years veg here! The pasta trap is a sticky one! Good luck!

I have found yoga to be about the only thing I can tolerate when my endo is flaring up - and even then it's a shortened session from what I would normally be able to do.

I get really sick when I eat meat as well - it is why I went vegetarian in the first place, because I was tired of feeling like crap all the time. You DO NOT need meat to get all of your proteins (actually, meat is harder for your body to extract protein from than most other things, because your body is not set up to…

I'm doing this now. I don't expect to win much, but I hope to at least get my $$ back.

I do what I can during my period. I get really symptomatic and at times have trouble even getting out of bed - so exercising is out of the question for about the first 3 days. It does help with the cramps - but it's finding the energy to do it that I struggle with. However, I have found that if I am exercising regularly…

I have found that doing yoga a little later helps a lot - I don't think that the stretching they do in Insanity is sufficient for the amount of stress they put on the muscles.

It really depends on how hard you push yourself. I just did the fit test yesterday, and I really pushed and tried my hardest (like you're suppose to). Today I am sore, but the more I move, the less I'm sore. When I stop for a while (like right now as I sit here typing) it's painful for me to get going again. My muscles…

I've been veggie for 6 years - technically ovo-lacto, but I cook strict. I have a sad addiction to dairy that I have found too hard to break right now. Lack of access to good ingredients is also an issue. Otherwise I would likely be vegan.

I have heard that some people don't really start dropping weight until the 2nd half of Insanity - due to fluid retention by the muscles adjusting to the new uber-intense exercises. It is also important that you follow close to the eating plan in order to get the best results. Keep with it and see how you feel as you…

I just finished the fit test this morning. I did better than I though I would! Way better than 6 months ago when I first tried to commit to the program! I made it 2 weeks before I gave up with the intention of starting again when it was warmer outside and I could put my dogs out so they weren't getting kicked in the face…

I have been meaning to start this back up. I tried once before, but my dog kept trying to get kicked in the face. It was too cold to put them outside for 45 min at a pop, so I put it off for a bit. But I was feeling GREAT! We starting Monday? I'm in!
