I have lost 20lbs on the Slimfast plan, though I also calorie count and adjust my evening meal to fit in with my calorie allowance depending on how much exercise I have done each day. When I reach my goal weight I am planning to gradually come off the shakes over a period of weeks. To be fair though, I will probably keep…

I did Insanity last year but I only made it through the first month. As soon as month 2 started with the hour long workouts I stopped. I was underestimating the amount of energy I was using at work as it was a very active job. As a result I wasn't eating nearly enough calories and just couldn't keep up with the longer…

I would love to know more too, but unfortunately I am useless to your initial question.

I've lost 20lbs but nobody has noticed yet. Even though I haven't lost loads if inches I do feel a little bit more comfortable in my skinny jeans which I'm going to take as a good thing. Though as of yet I honestly haven't seen any real difference other than on the scale.

Embrace the fact that you will crave snacks at the end of the day and save up calories especially for it. I have Special K bags of cracker crisps that are only 86 calories but satisfy that crisp craving. I use Slimfast chocolate bars for the same thing too as they are under 100 calories,

Whoa!!! We're halfway there!!! Whoooaaa! Livin' on a prayer! On a more serious note, well done!! That's an amazing loss! Pat yourself on the back and keep at it!

My other half is a proper spoilt brat when it comes to food. He had au pairs look after him for all of his childhood who let him get away with murder when it comes to food. He eats proper junk food, so I have started sneaking in healthier alternatives without him noticing. Like instead of normal store bought pasta sauce I…

I don't think I would ever go completely vegan but I would like to get very close. I don't drink milk or eat eggs or honey. However, I do still eat foods that contain these ingredients. I would love to be able to cut out these things, I just find it quite hard to find the foods. i need a UK vegan buddy really to show me…

I've been doing the same, trying to eat better and workout more. I had started running but that sort of died a death during the summer holidays because were a lot of people out and about and I felt like an idiot wobbling along the tarmac past people :blushing: I'm keeping it confined to my flat with Jillian Michaels and…

If I'm trying to rest and go to sleep but my brain is still buzzing I play meditation videos from Youtube. There's a really good one I use here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFYcAAK_LEw&index=2&list=FL5VOZkMfMeTHN5ZpC6zIVTQ I've been using it for years and I think I've only ever made it all the way through once, I just…

I am a vegetarian for ethical reasons but I still eat the fake meat out of convenience. It's mainly because I am a very bad (and lazy) cook. I love things like tofu, falafel and what-not but I just do not have the first clue how to cook it. While I don't think fake meat tastes very much like real meat (and I wouldn't…

After the second episode I still can't quite work it out XD I think the new Doctor needs to put his own individual stamp on it, which he hasn't really done yet. I don't think Peter Capaldi and Jenna Coleman go together that well as a pair. As much as I like her and her story lines, they just don't seem to fit.

I have a Gazelle but I don't burn many calories on it. I use it on my rest days because I feel horrid not doing anything all day and it is low impact so I'm still having a bit of a rest.

Or Katniss from the Hunger Games! (I mean that as a compliment)

Cousin It from the Addams Family. My long hair used to be blonde and I would cover my face in it and then put my glasses on over the top. My boyfriend however says that I have a massive forehead the size of a mountain range and it is so big that it has it's own gravitational force... and then he pretends his hand is stuck…

It's nice to meet you too. I set this group up because I saw loads of "mum's getting fit" groups and it seemed silly that we didn't have one ourselves. I myself am a foster/adoptive parent to 4 illegitimate small furry rodents, and I wouldn't have it any other way!! Sometimes I question whether they are the selfish…

I'm working out like crazy today so I can settle down with a pizza and bottle of wine tonight. Sent my other half out to watch the rugby so I've got the TV to myself.

Well done! You look amazing!

I think my guinea pigs need to go on diets, they weigh about 3 times the weight listed here XD

I want one too! Subtly hide vodka in the bottom

Hi! I agree, I think that there's more to life than just having kids like everyone else. :D

Alcohol, though that's probably not a good thing to share XD One turns to 10 very easily.
