  • Gutted I missed this, let me know if another round starts!
  • I weigh myself twice a day, once when I wake up and once before I go to bed. Mostly it's just curiosity to see how my weight fluctuates throughout the day, and it shows you how much it does fluctuate. I only really pay attention to my Friday morning weight as my weekly weigh in.
  • I'm in the south west of England and all the gyms near me seem to be around £40 a month. I'm going to a women's only one with view to joining tonight as it's only £22 a month but it is very small with only one of each machine. They do a lot of classes though.
  • Oddly enough I used to have a really active job and would walk about 13 miles a day, 5 days a week just at work, but I massively struggled to lose weight. I think it was just very hard to work out a balance between my calorie intake and expenditure, so I was always tired and hungry. Now I've got my desk job, I barely move…
  • If I'm having a big meal I still log it as normal but not fret too much. As I'm losing an average of 2lbs a week, I figure even if I go over by 3,500 calories, it's just one day and I'll just lose 1lbs that week instead of 2lbs. (Based on 1lb being worth 3,500 cals) Just chillax and enjoy.
  • People who log "X burned 850 calories doing the housework" as their exercise everyday. Then wondering why they are plateaued. I also deleted one person because they started spouting a load of religious stuff in all of their updates.
  • I've just finished my first week of Beta phase. I lost 11lbs in Alpha Phase but I have to say I enjoy the workouts in Beta phase more. Like skinny4me2be said, by the time you've actually realised what you're doing you only have 15 minutes left.
  • I do, but for a lot of things I judge it by how much of a packet of something I've eaten. Like for lunch I have crackers with 1/4 tub of humus on. Even if I'm not completely accurate with how much I spoon out each day, it still evens out across 4 days.
  • Thanks for the advice and putting my mind at rest everyone!
  • I'm 5ft 7 and 196lbs and I've been burning an average of 240 calories in T25 Alpha according to my HRM. Will have to see what happens when I start Beta tomorrow. But like above, it really varies from person to person.
  • Me! Me! Me! I'm a metalhead!
  • YouTube has loads of stuff :)
  • I'm on the last week of Alpha phase. It really is great, and so much more convenient in terms of time. I haven't missed a single one, whereas life would always get in the way of Insanity. Good luck everyone!
  • Vegetarian wrap or the caesar salad (hold the dressing and parmesan because I'm a veggie)
  • I'm halfway through Alpha week 4 and it's brilliant! I think the reason it works so well is because the workouts are so short. There are no excuses for putting them off!
  • To my knowledge, Fitbits and other activity trackers don't track your actual calories, they just track steps and sleep and what-not. To track calories in a workout you'd need a heart rate monitor. I have a Polar FT4, cost me £70 and tracks my calories burned during each of my workouts.
  • I have Nexplanon (which I think is the UK version of Implanon) but I haven't gained weight on it. I used to be on the jab though and that was catastrophic. I've still got a loose fitting chiffon blouse that I bought the same day as having one of my jabs and then 7 days later I couldn't even get it done up, the weight gain…
  • That's crazy! Massive well done!
  • Where have the tickers gone too?!
  • I have had sleep problems for the past 5 years or so, but not as bad as insomnia. The Dr prescribed me sleeping pills once but they were so ineffective that I got back out of bed and went clubbing after taking them. 5 minutes of listening to this though, and I am conked right out.…
  • Is this still happening? I'm all in! Have nearly finished Alpha week 1.
  • I'm 205lbs at 5ft 7in and I wear a UK 20/ US 18, or XL. I am starting to notice a bit of room and on some days I can squeeze into a UK 18/ US 16, or a L.
  • I'm doing really well on Slimfast, but I have to say I'm not following their plan religiously as I adapt it to suit my needs. It helps that I really like the food, despite the high sugar content. I have 2 shakes a day, then I have 3 snacks inbetween. I choose my own snacks rather than what they tell me to eat on the meal…
  • I am absolutely useless at making salads. They seem to taste awful when I make them myself (like cups of tea), but I love them when I eat out. My favourite Mexican restaurant does a lovely one with sprouted lentils, potato salad, apple, lettuce, carrot, red cabbage and beetroot. Nom, nom, nom, might have to go and get one…
  • T25 Total Body Circuit. It was the first time I've ever done this one and I'm dripping
  • My cheat is to buy supermarket own brand, value cheese and tomato pizzas. They tend to be a little bit smaller than the others and have a lot less cheese on them. I then add my own topping, my favourite is pineapple and sweetcorn, straight from the tins. It usually comes to around 650 calories per pizza then. I think Dr…
  • Usually I find it very easy to stay within my calorie limits on the weekends. I think that's mainly because I have lay-ins and am not as active so I don't feel hungry. If I go out on a Friday or Saturday night I find it incredibly hard/ nigh on impossible. I drink my entire day's allowance of calories in the space of a few…
  • One of my friends was in the news recently because she was the store manager of our local Subway and used the bread ovens to dry her socks in when it was raining. She stupidly posted photos of it on her Instagram account and people started complaining.…
