Congratulations. You were beautiful before, but you are absolutely stunning now. So happy for you that you took the weight off while you are young and have so many great years ahead of you. Now you can do all those things you probably couldn't have before. Enjoy and keep it off.

And you're looking darn cute in it too!

I took two friends and did some hiking in the Grand Canyon. We went down the South Kaibab trail and stayed at Bright Angel campground. The next day we hiked to Cottonwood campground for two nights and day hiked to the North Rim on the second day. Day four we hiked thru the bottom and back up the Bright Angel Trail to…

You look fabulous and I'm sure you're feeling that way too. Good for losing the weight while you are young and have so many years ahead of you. Never go back.

Thanks for your great post.

@midwesterner85 Up at the top part, near Tuolumne Meadows there are a couple of beautiful hikes. One is to Cathedral Lake and the other is to Cloud's rest. They are both out and back, but there may be too much snow right now. Not even sure the road is open. It would be the Tioga Pass Road. Down in the Valley I've hiked up…

I just got back from a trekking trip in Peru. My husband and I did a lodge to lodge trek of the Salkantay trail with Mountain Lodges of Peru. Beautiful scenery and other than the elevation it wasn't too difficult. We did go over one 15,000+ foot pass and were between 11,000 and 13,000 for a few days. At the end we went to…

My blow up pillow. It's very light, but I like it better than rolled up clothes. It only weighs an ounce or two.

I'm in. Just got back from vacation where I gained a couple of pounds. I'll weight in tomorrow and get going. Goal is 4 or 5 pounds for the month. 5'5" & 62 years old

The only way I can maintain is with exercise. I know that to lose it is more the food plan, but the exercise allows me to eat a little more so it is easier. The exercise I enjoy the most is hiking, so I'm out 4 or 5 days a weeks and I can go for hours. The exercise I need to focus on more is strength training. Good luck to…

What an amazing transformation! Congratulations, you are a rock star.

You look fabulous! What an inspiration you are.

How long have you been following your plan? Are you sure you are accurately logging your food? Are you hungry? The other thing is that when I first begin an exercise regimen I usually retain some water when my muscles are sore. The water weight doesn't continue, but I think I hold about 4 pounds more at first. Keep it up…

Wow, great job. You should be very proud!

You look absolutely terrific and I'm sure you feel it too. I love to see people losing the weight when they are young and can have so many wonderful years ahead of them. Congratulations!

I'm not sure about losing, but my hiking helps tremendously in helping me maintain my weight. It's great to have some extra exercise calories to work with. I know if I didn't eat as many exercise calories back I would lose, but I'm fairly happy at 5'5" and 139. It's a weight I can maintain fairly easily and I need the…

The food is rarely really good at a buffet, so that makes it easy to stay away from them. I'd much rather have a smaller portion of something that is great. I admit I would be one who would want her money's worth too.

I hope the photos turn out. This is one of my favorite hikes in the Superstitions in AZ. It's called Flatiron. It's only about 3 1/2 miles one way, but with 2800 feet elevation gain mostly in the 2nd half and some scrambling. The other photo is the gals I hiked it with. I think I have on a purple fleece.

Good for you for getting yourself slim and healthy while you are young. The life ahead of you will be so much more enjoyable. Nothing will be holding you back!

Wow, you look terrific!

I find exercise to be the biggest help in maintaining my weight. I joined a challenge for the year and plan to walk/hike 2000 miles. I would still like to lose about 10 pounds, but I maintained pretty well even through the holidays. Also the Beck Diet for Life, which is not any one particular diet but Cognitive Behavioral…

Great job!

Wow! Super job, keep up the good work. You must be feeling great.

Along with my food plan I use the strategies in the Beck Diet for Life book. You might want to look at one of Judith Beck's books from the library to see if it might be helpful for you. It is the cognitive behavioral therapy part of the plan so it works with any "diet" or "food plan" that you choose. Good luck to you.
