most holiday weight gains are just 90% water weight. I went on holiday a month back and ate/drank probably around 8000 calories each day minimum, gained 4 lbs at th end. Take this with a pinch of salt, meal timings and frequencies have little bearing on your weight loss. In fact I did IF for a month and I stopped loosing weight for a month! it works for some but not for all. This will not help you if you still have little muscle mass and have to drop to an unhealthy weight just to see abs.

did i say "weight" loss? that is why I said FAT loss, I took into account the higher retention of water through more sodium and therefore was careful to say FAT loss and not WEIGHT loss. The FAT loss will be exactly the same on either diets as both are 1500 calories.

A calorie is just a calorie and the "quality" of that calorie has no effect on how much weight you gain or lose. Other factors would play on how you look but it would not be the calorie, such as: your energy levels, which in turn COULD reduce your exhertion in the gym and therefore your appearance or your muscle gains.…

ahh interesting. I read an article, cant remember the source a while ago. It stated that heart disease and saturated fat had no link and the whole myth had been completely debunked. Interesting to find it is still an open ended debate!
