I started the 30 day shred a few weeks ago.....started out using my Zumba toning sticks, then bought me some 3 lb weights and just last night, I started using the 5 lb weights (for everything but those side lunge things with the arm raises, sticking with the 3's for now) I am still on level 1 and do it 4 times per week…

And that too was a question I had......hubby tried to tell me that starting weights now would put muscle on top of fat, but muscle helps to burn fat right? So I could do some weights along with cardio and still get the thinner, toner look and not look like a body builder.....

Well, went to my cardioligist appo......they did a stress test and everything went fine. Got up to my 100% mark and blood pressure and everything working just like it should. The dr wants me to wear a monitor just to make sure my heart rate doesn't drop below 40 while sleeping but for now he just thinks that the 40's range…

Have you tried MiO? I hate hate hate plain water....adding flavor is the ONLY way I can make myself drink it.....I never quite get in my 8 glasses but I get a lot closer than before :)

I had to sell my horses about 5 years ago... did barrel racing, pole bending, and trail rides......I blame part of my weight gain on that!! I was sooooo much more active when I had the horses. Hoping to be in a postition to get some more in the next 3 years......I don't want to have to board them, I want them on my own…

My boyfriend just bought my daughter and I the Wii console and it came with wii sports and wii resort. He had the wii fit and the balance board and he gave us that to go with it. I cheated.....I weighed myself to get my accurate weight to change my goals. I only want to lose down to 125 instead of the original 120. After looking at old pictures, the 125ish weight looks much better on me......120 and under is getting a little too bony for my body type. But I'm getting back on the wagon now....no…

I made it this morning without weighing myself....YAY!!!! My daughter pulled it out to weigh herself and I'm thinking the whole time, just put it up, get it out of my sight! lol.

I think I'm gonna try cutting out pictures of what I want my body to look like and pin them up on the wall all around my workout area.......maybe take my bikini out and hang it on the wall too!! lol
