If you are within your calorie goal for the day then I personally wouldn't cut fruit out - especially if you enjoy it. Our bodies fluctuate on a daily basis. So, I suggest that you weigh yourself just once a week - not everyday. I also recommend that you measure your self with a tape measure every couple of weeks. The…

It may just be water weight. Just keep doing what you have been doing and see what happens next week. Don't worry!

I echo what a lot of others are saying... Don't let the number on the scale dishearten you. Track your progress by other means eg, how your clothes feel, measure yourself with a tapemeasure, take full body photos of yourself every few weeks. Also log other goals, are you getting fitter, running faster, getting stronger.…

Hi Simone, :) I'm Sarah, 5'5 and 143lbs. I run, bike and weight train - Saying that, the past 5 days i've had a bit of a break, for my body and my mind! But back to normal today. Since finishing school I have been massively into fitness (I'm 28 now) and have been a bit of a cardio bunny, but only since January have I…

As with many of the replies to this post - I don't have an end date anymore. I used to always have an end date to my goals, but this negatively impacted my life. If i didn't reach my goal, then I would feel like a failure, and if I did reach my goal then I would celebrate by doing all the things that I had refrained from -…

My advice to you is, don't waste your money on diet/weight loss pills Weight loss can be acheived by eating healthy & nutritious food at a calorie deficit (I would search TDEE to help you with this), and working out (find something you enjoy). Don't over complicate things, be consistent, allow the odd treat, be patient and…

I think this is a bad idea. Seriously. For five days, why don't you just reduce your carbs slightly (as this will help you lose water weight), drink plenty of water, and up your protein from food sources? Eat real food to ensure you are getting the correct nutrients, and this will also avoid any possible chance of binging…

Try it, see how your body responds. Experiment with your own body, that's the only way you'll find what works for you. Play around with your intake until you find a SUSTAINABLE way to reach your goals. Good luck!

Eat at a sustainable deficit and you will lose weight. Don't waste money on fad diets/pills/drinks that are NOT sustainable.

Why would you do this?! Eating food according to your goals works just fine. Seriously.

Awesome work!

Weigh/measure absolutely EVERYTHING that you eat/drink - This has certainly helped me. All those little bites of things really add up and can be enough to hinder your progress. Drink plenty of water. How much, and what type of exercise do you do? Consistency and patience is key. Good luck!

I know this has been stated over and over again, but I thought I'd just reiterate - You have to learn what works for you. It is a long process (which noone likes to hear), you have to have patience and a will to succeed. Set yourself small goals, rather than huge goals which seem so far away. Move more, get outside, find…
