Perfectly stated.

None of this is necessary, OP. Though it's important to eat nutrient-dense food for health and satiety, you don't need to cut anything out. If you're gaining instead of losing weight, you're simply eating more than you think. I recommend getting a food scale and weighing and logging everything you consume consistently.…

I recommend joining one of MFP's Christian themed groups. Your posts will be better received there. Religious topics are not well-suited for the main forums.

I see that many people have already offered similar advice, but it's good advice and I'm going to repeat it. If you're not weighing your food, you don't know how much you are truly consuming. Increasing your calorie goal is not going to help because you're not in a deficit. I recommend getting a food scale and weighing and…

Yeah, my location doesn't exactly help matters. There is not much here except trees, cows, fields, and people I really don't get along with. I know there are others out there who struggle with the same issues, I guess it's just easy to forget that when it seems everyone else is more experienced than me. I feel a bit better…

No, it doesn't sound awful. The fact that you can relate is actually reassuring to me as well. I very nearly didn't post that comment, but I'm glad I did now.

Thank you. It messed me up, but it helps to be reminded I'm not the only one who thinks he's a bucket of crazy.

He was amazingly good at gaslighting and getting people to believe his insanity. When I think about it in retrospect, it completely baffles me.

I only have one experience with dating, and it was terrible. I was friends with a man online for a few years, when he suddenly took a strong interest in me. I'd just turned 18, and being the lonely and naive girl I was, I fell for it. I never met him in person, thankfully, but he strung me along for two years. Over time I…

I've been single since, well....always. I've never been on a date, I've been kissed exactly once, and the closest thing I've experienced to a relationship was an online friendship that turned into a complete trainwreck. I developed unrequited feelings for him and was toyed with and used for 2 years. I'm also awkward,…

I've had depression and anxiety since childhood, and more recently, what I suspect is PTSD. Like many here, I tend to use food as a coping method and I'm fighting to improve both my physical and mental health. I would love to have friends on here who can relate. I'm open to any and all friend requests.

1) Do you do any traditional cardio? (By this I mean something other than “lift weights quickly.”) No. 2) If you do not do cardio, why not? I have a strong dislike of most forms of cardio. I also prefer to use the very limited energy I have focusing on increasing strength and building muscle 3) If you do cardio, why do you…

I'm part of the LGBT community, so I'd say I'm definitely LGBT friendly. Feel free to send me a request. That goes for anyone.

I don't know about you, but I'm greatly enjoying my considerably increased lifespan and my lack of smallpox.

I got a 300 lb Olympic weight set and lifting gloves. I ended up getting the barbell and plates several months early, though. I was driving my mother insane with talking about wanting to lift so much.
