did day 3 of week 1 alpha today. the total body circuit video with lots of plank exercises and push ups, which were too hard for me even when modified so i'm going to do some extra cardio today to make up for it. i wanted to try t25 as a precursor to insanity because insanity kills my calves if i really go for it, to the…

I've been doing the 30DS barefoot, but in the past I've typically worn shoes while working out to videos. I'll be doing insanity next and I was thinking I probably shouldn't do it barefoot. We'll see.

What I've seen some girls do is wear smaller shorts and pull their t-shirts or tank tops up to where the bottom of the bra starts so that you can still see enough of the body to get a good idea. That's probably the most ideal option for me, personally. Though I really don't reserve any judgment whatsoever about people…

Save your money on the creams and oils. Stretch marks occur when the deepest layers of the skin literally tear apart due to rapid weigh gain, and blood rushes in to fill the gap, which is why they look red or purple at first. Over time scar tissue forms and they fade to a skin color or white. Creams and oils don't…

Oh god, me too. I had a bad habit, like 3-4 cans a day of the regular stuff. I quit cold turkey and only drink water now. I've tried to quit before but would fiend for it so bad that I'd drive out in the middle of the night to buy some. Since I've started low carb I don't crave it anymore. I think I was just a crazy…

I miss brown rice! I love the texture of it. I can't eat it right now because I'm low carbing it. Anyway, one "sauce" I like to make for a variety of things (especially broccoli, yum!) is this: - soy sauce (low sodium preferably) - rice wine vinegar (unseasoned) - sesame oil - red pepper flakes For one serving I usually…

Lvl1Day7 here. I've improved so much in some of the exercises over the last week. Especially the push ups (which i do on my knees). I really want to supplement it with some cardio though. Maybe zumba on youtube or Brazil Butt Lift or something.

Lvl 1 Day 7 for me. I didn't take pics though, oop.

hm, looks really awesome. the one around here isn't until september, i'm not sure if i'll be strong enough by then. also, it's kind of expensive. maybe i could try it next year though. i really want to do the color run next year, too.

Good luck! I'm sure you'll see great results.

There's a girl named Sharee Hansen (you can google funeralformyfat for her site) and she is very honest and open and shares a lot of pics of her weight loss journey and the extra skin. She was never pregnant, but she lost about 120 lbs. She just had a tummy tuck, but before she did, she posted several videos on youtube…

I crossed over into ONEderland yesterday! Feels good man. I haven't been under 200 in several years, so it's definitely a mini-milestone for me. Congrats on your accomplishment and good luck on the journey ahead!

I have Insanity and I'd like to start but I'm in the middle of the 30 Day Shred, for one, and two, I don't think I'm fit enough for it yet. Maybe after I'm done? I want to supplement 30DS with more cardio though, not sure what I should choose.

I'm 5'4" 200 lbs and hadn't exercised at all before starting. The smallest weights I had were 5 lbs, and honestly, aside from specific exercises (pushups (which I do on my knees), the side-to-side lunges, the squat-and-lifts) I'm doing pretty okay. I was only sore the first couple of days. I'm on Lv1D6 now. If the…

I finished Level 1 Day 6 today. The smallest weights I have are 5lbs. Some of the exercise are very hard to do for me (those squat lifts, and the side to side lunges where you bring the weights up to shoulder height), but the others are fine. Keep in mind that I hadn't been exercising at all prior to started 30DS.

5'4" 200 lbs, i wear a size 16/18 depending. When I was around 160-170 I wore a size 10, sometimes 8. One thing you can do is look online at the size charts for various brands. You can use them to compare hip and waist measurements across brands to see which size would fit you best.

Well, I see a lot of fast food (everyday!) and prepackaged stuff. Are you just trying to lose weight for your wedding, or do you want to get healthy? (No shame in answering to the former, I'm just wondering). I'm going to assume you're just trying to eat under your BMR calories every day. From what I've seen some people…
