Steak 'n Shake....extremely close to my place. God, I want a burger xD

I generally don't count them, because I know that they rarely add up past 200 calories and being a college student, I walk around campus all the time, probably burning off much of that.

+1

Definitely. During the week you have more things to keep you occupied from eating (work, school, etc.). When the weekend hits, you're either out with friends or lazing around and both usually lead to eating more.

Jennifer Lawrence is very plain looking. She really does just look like your average girl, hence why she was probably chosen for the Hunger Games. You don't want some gorgeous model type for that sort of role. So Alba.

You're 120 and look about 18?! Jeez, teach me your ways!

I'm also a uni student. For cheap yet healthy food I would recommend eggs and rolled oats. A good portion of my diet centers around those 2 things. Just be sure to add some fruits/vegetables in there too.

A Japanese sweet potato...which I've heard good things about, but it's quite dry...very much like a russet potato just with a slight sweetness. I don't prefer it.

As far as I know, the liquid version tastes a bit…odd. But in powder form, it actually tastes pretty good. Definitely better than Splenda, which I believe has an awful aftertaste. It's good enough in powder form to even be on its own. Sometimes I like sprinkling it over my pancakes.

Posts like these are very contradictory. If much of the people here were proud of their bodies, they wouldn't even be here...

I don't know if I should laugh at all of the people here screaming homophobia for the smallest things for feel pretty damn disappointed...this is a sad world, indeed. Let people believe what they want to. Not everyone in this world needs to think the same damn way.

Er....noooo. You'd just lose weight up until the point that 1200 calories eventually becomes your TDEE. For someone like me, at nearly 5'7", I'd have to be like...50 pounds or something.
-
Hm...by this, apparently I'm not a woman. Nice assessment, there.

It's the holidays, don't be so tough on yourself. Hell, the holiday season is one of those few times we can even escape from our miserable lives xD
-
It's just switching off the amount of calories you eat during the week. Say instead of eating 1500 each day, you'll have a day where you eat 1800, then the next day you'll eat 1200.
-
I eat 1200 (though lately I've been kind of inching toward maintenance). I've lost a pound a week or more, and I was already on the lower end of healthy BMI when I started.
-
I'm starting to wonder if this would be a better route to take. Today I got through breakfast and lunch without eating anything and did just fine. It would sound pretty nice to blow all my calories at dinner time xD I think I'll try it out.

I'm quite the opposite, and have a very specified choice in men xD Someone mentioned "missing out" however, and I fail to see their rationale. I don't exclude personality types (unless you're a total ****), simply appearances. Of course I've gotten the whole, "you're so shallow" spiel from those who are clearly morally…

Buy a safe that only your husband (if you have one?) knows the combination to and have him throw them in there xD

How's your water intake? I thought it was a bunch of crap when people were bugging me about how much it helps, but drinking 8 cups a day pretty much broke my plateau.

I like almond milk a lot. Pretty tasty, plus it has about half the calories of skim or soy milk. I put it in my coffee, cereal, just about everything.

Yes, but if she plans on logging her exercise calories, she should only log the 443, because MFP already has the 57 calories factored into her daily goal.
-
Not exactly. What I didn't realize at first is that you need to subtract the amount you've burned (say, 500 in one hour) from your bmr, the calories you would've burned anyway by simply living. For me, it's about 57 calories an hour. So if my heart rate monitor said I burned 500 in an hour, really I was only burning 443 or…

There are differences. As far as I know, simply eating 1200 with no exercise puts you at risk of losing muscle mass. By eating 1700 and working out to net 1200, you can more effectively lose weight while maintaining muscle.

I'm guessing you're referring to your calves. I sort of have this problem. I have humongous calves for someone my height/weight ratio. I learned that it's mostly genetic and you can't really change it, so I'm just going to have to grin and bear it.

Drink tons of water. I thought I had a 25" waist but that was just because I was bloated all the time. Now it's around 23.5 I swear by it. xD
-
Bread. I tend to eat quite a bit of it, and I've been slowly cutting it out, but it makes me bloat up like crazy, like my stomach will swell up like a woman that's 4-5 months pregnant <.<

I was doing pretty well, then stopped losing for a couple of weeks, but then started back up again once I started eating more (I eat anywhere from 1200 to 1400 or so now and have been losing a pound or more a week, which is kind of weird since I'm nearly 5'7" and only 111). I think me drinking a lot more water now has to…
-
Because your waist size isn't a definite indicator of how thin someone is. You can have like a 26 inch waist and just be flat as a board with no curves. On the other hand, you could be a very curvy woman (and have a 23-inch waist) but be pretty hefty in other areas, I suppose. For example, everyone knows Nicole Richie was…

When I wake up in the morning, having gone hours without eating, it could be as low as 23", though usually 23.5" I'm perfectly happy with it as long as it stays around 24. I only have a pound left to lose so it won't be changing much xD
