I don't have to look it up to know that they probably aren't all true. But I can guarantee you that you can't find any nutritional value in Diet Coke - or other soda's for that matter. However, there is a ton of scientific proof from the medical community showing the negative side effects of it/them.

I used to drink it so much. I haven't taken a sip in probably 2 years now. I only drink flavored water or good ole agua now. However, I can't say it helped with any type of weight loss or anything like that. Overall, I think its better. I just feel better and I probably sleep a little better too. Have you ever watched the…

Thanks Y'all, very helpful stuff!!

I do it about twice a week and ab ripper x 3 times a week. I love P90X. If you stay consistent and push it to your limits (safely), you'll have great success. The other days I do other programs or running. Feel free to ad if you'd like. I try and give good advice and encouragement for sure :)

Consistency, and mix it up. Have fun with it!
-
Totally! Nice work and good luck!!
-
Congrats! That is awesome!!!
-
I totally agree. I've working hard for a year now. I just need to cut the cheat/crap days for sure!
-
Way to go! Keep it up!!!
-
That's pretty cool! Congrats!!!

- Keep in mind I lost about 25 lbs, but gained some back as I began strength training. I know it's muscle because I can lift a heck of a lot more than when I started a year ago. - Mostly because I guess I'm a little vain...I wanna look good  - The point would be that I might have to in order to see my abs better.

Take it one step at a time. It takes a while to develop such a habit, so it won’t be overcome immediately. Set reasonable and realistic goals that will leave you feeling successful rather than overwhelmed by an impossible task. Turn to natural sources of energy. If energy is what you seek, find it through more exercise, a…

Nice! Now, I just have to save up my $$

I thought the Smith Machine had the catch bars...In that case, I agree 100% - gotta have the catch bar!
-
This is my picture from last year (Mayhem). I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet this year?
-
I'd go for a Smith Machine, but that's because I'd like to do more heavy lifting. For cardio, I'd recommend a Precor. It's not bad on your joints and can be a full body workout.
-
I've been doing bodybeast for a week now. Feel free to add me.
-
I couldn't agree more. How long has it taken you? Do you calorie count/food track like crazy or do you just eat clean and train? Mostly strength/weight training, or cardio? Great job by the way!!!

I wear a Polar FT4. It seems to be very accurate, but does require the Chest strap for full functionality.
-
I had to get a HR Monitor. It is about the only way to get an accurate reading on the calories burned.

I am with you! Easier said than done, right? For me, I used to suck it up starting Friday night all the way until Sunday night. The way I overcame it was to start slowly. I would choose one Weekend day (Usually Sunday) to have a cheat day instead of the whole weekend. Now, I try to limit it to one cheat meal and/or cheat…

So, in 3 months you went from 150 to 125? I'd say those are AWESOME results!! I haven't used those programs, but I am currently doing Bodybeast. I have convertible dumbbells ranging from 5 - 55. It can be a pain, but it works (its also much cheaper that way, haha) More weight could help. Anyway, I don't think you're…

My opinon only, but I don't think this above ^^ is true for everyone. I have never counted calories (not saying thats always a good thing though - I could've probably saved myself a lot of weight gain had I done so). However, I lost 17 without counting calories once. I just eat clean breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and mix…

I've done a bunch of them. The trick is to make exercising a consistent lifestyle. Many times people (including myself) get caught up by the "ripped in 90 days", "lose 30 lbs in 30 days", etc. When it doesn't happen in reality its easy to get discouraged. I've actually had great results with beachbody workout videos…

I still haven't been able to talk myself into the fitbit. How do you like it? Well at only 1000 to 1200 Calories day - I can 't see you having that problem. To me that seems like a pretty tall order. If you can sustain that I bet you'll lose a lot of weight really quick if you are consistent with your exercise. I've never…

My opinion is 1 hour at a time vs. breaking it up, but you may have to ease into that depending on how hard you work out. Also, I try not to eat before I workout. I workout first thing in the morning. However, if you can't do that, I'd wait at least an hour or two before a workout.
