AWESOME JOB!!! I Can't wait to join you in success!!! Only been here two weeks and this is going to be awesome!!! ONE YEAR?!?!?! You Rock.

The problem with sugars in how fast they hit your blood stream and how quickly they cause your insulin to jump (it causes the insulin to process this sugar really fast then you get an energy crash that can cause bad diet choices and can also store excess sugars riiiiight on the hips or gut or wherever you don't want it).…

Are you a vegitarian? I didn't see any meat.... If your not you can always add more lean protein that way. Eggs are eggselent and chicken breast. Other than the lack of meat, you are eating a lot of good foods. Might have to eat more calories which I know sounds like sabotage but truly can be a big benefit. This is the…

I am going with the hubs to our first ever spin class tonight. Just joined the Y and can work out with out tripping over 3 kids for a change!! Can't wait. I hope I love it as much as you all.

bump - so trying this

What are your calories set at? MFP set me at 1200 and it got me absolutly nowhere (not true, it gained me 3 lbs). I had to figure out my BMR and TDEE and eat at least 1600 per day to lose anything.

Papa Murphy's pizza. Super thin crust delight pizza with olive oil and garlic instead of sauce and canadian bacon. Our every othe week treat..

I haven't weighed in since I switched toTDEE on Tuesday and raised my cals.. My pants feel too big. Big enough that all day they felt like they were trying to tug down the undies that are appearantly too loose also. Will weigh in tomorrow.

This was what I was originally trying to say. The improvement in my own cart has amazed me. I will be proud of it. I will gloat in my head about it. I am proud of myself for making these changes.

hard work

I would look at you and think you are just like my mother who is despite eating whatever she wants is all of 90 lbs soaking wet and too tiny to buy pants in most stores. Then I would curse the genetic metabolsim I got from my dad.

Gosh, you mean your not buying lunch for the checker... That cracks me up.
-
Tell them you got a rabbit... And good for you! Mmmmm hummus!

I have been fighting to find a polite way to say this

My son has sat at the table for 2.5 hours before while we reheated the same green beans.

Oh, dear! I have had that mental conversation so many times. And I wonder why I used to have 'digestive issues'. Yikes
-
YES YES YES!!!! Thank goodness for good old fashion common sense. Why if we are choosing healthy for ourselves but not for our kids? I don;t want my kids to be fighting this same fight down the road. I would rather they learn it now!

THIS!!!! Is Awesome

This one totally makes sense. There is a picky eater and a picky eater with a legitimate reason to be.

LOL. If hubby ask for crap, I 'forget' to write it on the list. We have a tight grocery budget, he can use his fun money for that which he usually won't so he diets by association, wether he wants to or don (but he really does)... interesting thought.

I see a lot of posts asking how we know who they are buying it for. This one does confuse me some. Yes, my kids get applesauce and chicken nuggets occasionally and ice cream on occasion. BUT, I do all the shopping and most of the cooking. The way I see it, they eat whats for dinner. The girls are harder some days since…

This cracked me up. Hubby's need grocery stickers!!! Maybe HIS and HERS??

I buy perishables every week, for that week, for a family of 5. Both adults work full time so the menu is planned out before the grocery trip. We get through it all before it spoils. And your right I have no idea what they have at home.

Sorry, never eat lean cuisene (sp). We eat Dinner. That meal that when we had the big heaping cart of crap was usually pizza or hamburger helper. Now is Turkey burgers or Chicken breast with steamed veggies. I will pass on the beef jerky but no sugar added icecream treats are in my cart, along with some tasty fruit so no…

I am trying and I don't do it intentionally - If you had read the original post one of the main things I have noticed though is the financial aspect. A half full cart full of 'less healthy' options (is that politically correct? Never mind, I am not a politician) - a half full cart of crap cost more that a full cart of…

Awesome!!!! Love the visual. Watch out for the Dorito Bandito!

Photoshop ughhhhh.. Kim Kardashian was never as thin as the magazines showed and now is not actually as thick as they show her either. Pregnant yes, but they are giving her weird porportions.. But everyday I see more teen girls checking out her cover photos.
