MFP already calculates and factors in your goals to your daily calorie limits. So any exercise you do means you get to eat more that day. Be careful not to eat too few of calories as it can do more bad than good.

When i first started lifting i was really intimidated by the "more advanced lifters". I just one day decided i had nothing to worry about and focused on my own goals and have done really well. In fact I learned that most of the people i thought were "advanced lifters" are actually noobies too. IMO, you just gotta decide…

with only 25 lbs to lose, you might want to select 1 lb per week instead of 1.5/2 lbs a week. It would be much more sustainable that way. Just remember its not a race, its a marathon.

2500 is extremely high for a female your age. what did you put for your exercise level? You can always cut back on exercise so you are able to consume less calories.

its just hard i guess to figure things out as there is so many different sources stating all kinds of things. I also read eating below your BMR is terrible. my BMR is about 2131 according to scoobys calc. So do i really have to eat more than that? Its all I can do to eat about 1800-1900 calories in a day.

after calculating my TDEE -20% it says I should consume 2100 calories. I have upped my calories the past week and ended up gaining about 2.5 lbs while still continuing my weight lifting 3 times a week and cardio 2-3 times a week. Really quite confused what my body needs lol
