I really need to work on strengthening the muscles before I do some joint damage... Those of you who've done L2, is it any…

Okay ladies, I didn't mean to hog this thread...it's just that I work in an office by myself all day, hubby's out of town working and this is where I'm doing my "socializing"!! If I'm getting on you all's nerves, just let me know and I'll slow down on the comments a bit!! I'm just so glad I found MFP and some new friends!!…

That's great!! I'll be glad when I can get back into some of my "skinnier" jeans!! Been holding on to them for so long, they're gone out of style and come back in!! CONGRATS on your progress!!

I know what you mean!! I was so surprised the morning I woke up and it didn't hurt to get out of bed!!

There have been a few days when I had to really dig deep to get going, but was glad I did once I finished the workout. I think taking weekends off has helped me a bit. I also think it helps that the hubby is out of town working (I visit him on weekends, that's why I take them off) and commented on how much "firmer" my…

Thank you for this post....today is day 10 of level 1 for me....then the weekend off...sounds like I should take a look at level 2 just to see what's involved. So far, my knee feels much better this morning, I'll see how it feels after the workout. If it continues to feel better, I may advance to level 2 next week, but so…

For by boobs to poke out farther than my belly...once I get that one, I'll set another!!

Anyone start level 2 today?? Just curious as to how it went!!

Did day 9 this morning, and even though I thought I was going to die, I did the jumping jacks/jump rope thing all the way through for the first time today!! Must be something magical about day 9!! I caught my breath just in time for the butt kicks!! Still can't do all the push ups and shoulder raises. My right knee is…

Sure!! The more the merrier, you'll probably catch and pass me anyway!!

I do mine in the mornings, and every morning I wake up, I say to myself, "If you're going to be serious about this, you've got to get serious about this!" The last thing I want to do is get up and exercise, it's a real struggle!! BUT don't get up so early that you deprive yourself of sleep....sounds like your family needs…

It might take a few days, but it WILL get better!
-
I've actually wanted to eat more since starting!!
-
I know what you mean about "not shake"...I could hardly do anything except sit and breathe deeply after the first few workouts, now I can actually do the stretches, some extra stretches and feel good enough to go about the day normally!! I even push mowed in the yard some straight afterwards....it gets better!!
-
BUMMER, I've been doing l1 on youtube, maybe I'll buy the dvds for level 2.... I log as circuit training general as well.
-
My legs got really tight, and my calves were sore to the touch...I did a lot of extra stretches and still stretch extra afterwards and throughout the day when I feel them getting tight.

You won't believe how much more you'll be able to do without a break in just a few days....I'm planning on sticking with level 1 until I can make it without a break, but I believe most are going on to level 2...it was suggested to go on to level 2 and if it was too hard, drop back to level 1. The reason I'm going to do…

CONGRATS on getting through that, I STILL can't do it!! Let me know if level 2 makes you as sore as when you started level 1

Just my personal experience...I was addicted to Diet Pepsi!! Three weeks ago, I gave them up (except an occasional one on the weekend)... I drink chocolate milk in the morning now (made with stevia and Hershey's unsweetened cocoa powder) and water the rest of the day. The fist day of doing that, I couldn't get enough…

Day 8 done, and even though I'm getting stronger, it's still kicking my butt!! Looks like this might be the 45 day shred for me!!

I want to be able to play with any future grandchildren!! I had become such a couch potato and didn't realize how out of shape I was until I quit smoking...for some reason, I felt so much better after putting the tobacco aside, I decided it was time to get in shape and healthy (and a recent 48th birthday made me realize…

OH....I hope your hamstring's better tomorrow!!
-
I've started to stretch at least 3 times a day now!! I've never been flexible anyway!! Whenever I feel like I'm tightening up from the work out, I sneak to the empty office and do a few minutes of stretching...man do I feel better afterwards!!

L1 D7 done....but I'm definitely going to stick with level 1 for a while longer.....my right knee wants to twist on me. I got a support this morning to start using tomorrow, but when I was doing the jumping jacks, I had to stop because my knee felt like it wanted to twist. Since all of my siblings and nephews have had knee…

I'm still using the 2lbs for the arm raises with the side lunges, have to put them down to finish the second set. I use 3 lbs for the others....thinking of upping the 3 to 5 though...my arms are really weak!! I did manage to do 12 pushups (on knees) the first round this morning, (up from 8) but could still only do 5 the…

I'm thinking about adding this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lCg_gh_fppI I've had three kids (a LONG time ago, the youngest is 22) and never worked my abs enough afterwards. I've heard that pilates is good for helping to get rid of the baby pooch!!
