When you say quite a bit to do at LA Fitness (despite all the negatives), are you referring to classes? From your write up it seems obvious that Planet Fitness is your preference right now.

My biggest downfall when it comes to a healthy lifestyle is trying to do it all. I tend to get involved in a lot of things and sadly, I tend to put "me" on the back burner when there isn't time to do it all and something has to be cut. & by "me" I mean trading in the time I would exercise and cook meals for other things…

I typically find a new activity that runs a few weeks and sign up for it. Groupon and/or living social provides me these month long options to keep staying active interesting and fun for me. When I'm feeling that way, I've found that a change of activity is my best option.
