Quoting myself to update.... No planks since the third. (hangs head in shame :embarassed: ) So that means, that today I need to do 4 - 1 minute planks. I'm on it.

Try looking into it. There may be programs in your area to help with that. You may be able to donate excess skin to help burn victims. I cannot say for certain, but years ago a friend was able to do this after losing weight from her gastric bypass surgery.

How are things going OP? Hang in there, your recovery week is right around the corner. :drinker:

OR.... you can look at it this way: First day of Insanity & I did a FULL 10 MINUTES!!! <perspective> Congrats on being brave enough to take the Insanity Challenge!

Late to join, but in! So, does this mean I need to do 3 minutes today to get caught up?
-
I agree! Great job hot mama!

Joining the applause! What an amazing recovery story! Congratulations on changing your life for the better!

I think you should take a break. A little rest is a good and necessary thing. Maybe take just a couple days before starting a new program. Also regarding your energy level: Are you eating enough? Having low energy may be your body's way of telling you its not getting enough fuel.

Beautiful!!!

Perhaps your friend has simply changed her goals. As has been pointed out by others, there are varying thoughts on rep ranges and weight ranges and what can be gained from each. I wouldn't go so far as to say she is wrong and you are right, or vice versa. In my opinion, the only wrong way to train, is with bad form. Heavy…
