^^^ this! What a visual difference those 5 lbs made! Way to go!

Similar goal here as I try to at least preserve my LBM, at best gain a little muscle mass. Maybe a few vanity pounds, my not many as far as losing is concerned at this point. Sending request.

I second that seriously. & I have to be perfectly honest here, I felt like taking a nap half way through reading it... I can't imagine how you felt writing it, let alone doing it daily.

Its perfectly fine to separate your eating habits from your friend's. Don't give someone else control over what you will eat. And don't allow how others feel about what you eat to derail you. When she offers say no thank you and mean it. If you notice she gets offended then perhaps the decision to decline her offers to go…

Where are you going that 6pks are a requirement?
-
Wait... You found your lost wallet 7 months later?
-
This. And don't worry. You won't gain ten pounds in a week.
-
Way to go!

Was just gonna add this after finding it for myself. I have not been warming up properly and that stops today.

AWESOME!

Well done!!!!!!

Happy Anniversary!!!! You've done a great job! Congratulations!

I'd say everybody's last 10 lbs is inherently different. The term "last X pounds" is suggestive at best, and typically used to refer to being that # of lbs away from a goal we've set for ourselves. With all the guides and charts that are out there to "help" us determine where we "should" be, I think its safe to say there's…

A more well rounded glute training routine. (total pun intended) Your glutes are made up of three muscle groups. Other than squats, are you doing anything to target your glutes? Some exercises that come to mind are: hip thrusts, glute bridges, fire hydrants, donkey kicks, step ups... Surely there are more out there. I just…

OP, it sounds like you may need to do a little research and determine what's best for you in terms of where you are and what your goals are. I think you just need a better understanding of how to go about getting the results you are after and your nutritional needs. There is a wealth of information here on MFP. Try…

Great progress for such a short period of time! Good luck with round 2, & Best Wishes on your upcoming marriage!

I hear stripes are all the rage these days! You look great!!! RAWR!

Insert thumbs up smiley here. Thanks for posting this beautiful reminder. Whatever number is on that scale you look FABULOUS at it. So 140something, 150something, another.something... doesn't matter that much, just like you said. :drinker:

Where is my "like" button? Just awesome! Great work.

I have finally started strong lifts. No beginner to heavy lifting, but its been a while. I eat food and stuff. I log on and check in with my friends and sometimes post random things. Also, I'm not anti-pony but, I don't need one right now. Apartment living has its downsides :ohwell:

Crying is ok. Just do it. Get it out and start fresh when you're done. You know what to do, and why you want to do it. That's all you need. As others have said set smaller goals so it doesn't seem so daunting. Find an activity you actually enjoy and will look forward to. Eat smart. You can still have the things you love in…

Shoes. Massages. Shoes. Splurge an "event". A pretty dress. & sometimes shoes.

Hmmm. That's tough. I don't think any two people should "compare" weight loss. It adds unnecessary pressure. Each body is different so expecting the same progress isn't realistic. A shared journey is wonderful, and I commend you for supporting each other and doing it together. Maybe try not focusing on the scale weight for…

People carry weight differently. Also, height and body fat% both play an important role is what a certain weight looks like on different people. That being said, none of those things factor in confidence. If you put on your bikini and feel good in it, then wear it. If you don't, then wear something else. Either way, let…
