I run on my treadmill using socks (only because after a while barefoot they burn). Love it.

How are you calculating your calories lost through exercise? MFP is completely off the mark with this, it's why I've invested in fitbit.

Is she eating enough? Competition is good. I even offered to pay for my husbands pedometer so that he may join me in this journey. But he refused. Maybe re-*kitten* how you approach her with your results and only mention it when she asks?

For the purposes of tracking/noting my weights, it's once a week. But I like to weigh myself every two days in the morning to keep myself in check.

Hi. I have purchased a months supply of protein bars and shakes. Which will replace both breakfast and lunch. Usually have banana as a snack and small dinner, heavily egg based. I've lost 4 pounds in the last 10 days doing this.
