Unless you are a doctor or are under a doctor's supervision on a diet that low, please do not do it. I know the impatience of wanting to get to a lower weight, but you're doing great without resorting to that.

This. All the way. It's one day. Don't beat yourself up. Progress, not perfection is the key. Acknowledge it and move on. You've got this.

I like scrambling an egg or two, along with spinach, onion, bell peppers, whatever type veggies I have on hand that sounds good, with just a sprinkle (less than a tablespoon ) of cheese. It's filling and fairly low cal and doesn't really take long to fix.

I'm in for the low impact ones.

Canned foods and most boxed items are notoriously high in sodium. You want your fruits and veggies to be fresh if possible, frozen if not. Canned should be a very last resort. Canned soup, please don't go there. Another crazy high source of sodium. Soups are ridiculously easy to make from scratch so you control the amount…

Crockpot Salsa Chicken 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1 (16 oz) bottle salsa 1 packet or 2 teaspoons (I used 2 tablespoons because I love flavor) taco seasonings --I make my own and you can find that recipe on Pinterst Mix the seasoning with the salsa and pour it on the chicken. Let it cook all day until it shreds…

Dark chocolate is better in terms of antioxidants and such, and I find that one square of 70% (or darker) dark chocolate takes care of the craving. Moderation is key. If you deny yourself chocolate long enough, my friend, you may find yourself in the midst of a binge. If having chocolate in the house is too much of a…

Almost anytime I cook and would normally use canola, vegetable oil or shortening I use coconut oil instead. It's tons better for you.

I am currently on WW and have made it work with MFP.. I like some of the recipes but mostly what I get from it is information and an extra push. I'm probably one of the "black sheep" of WW though, because I let all the nonfat this and fat free that go in one ear and out the other and I'm still losing weight by the points…

In and done. Now. Let me admit that a) I was only able to hold the pose for up to 25 seconds each time. This is the first time I've ever attempted them. and b) I have tremendous respect for anyone who even begins these things, much less can hold the pose for a full 60 seconds. But i'm glad I put the effort in.

Go. Split an entree or appetizer with someone. Enjoy the time with your brother. If you can't split the food, take most of it home. It's one day, one meal.

great job on the mowing and moving, but do be careful in the heat, especially with that high of an index. Early morning or late evening may be better for that kind of activity.

On a day that you have time, cut up some fruit and place in serving size containers, boil some eggs, and make a batch of muffins, pancakes, or breakfast burritos to freeze. If you are on Pinterest, search breakfast cookies --usually an oatmeal or peanut butter type with things added like dark chocolate, dried fruit, flax…

Am I the only one who is tracking both ways? I'm still figuring out a way to make it work but I'm losing weight with it. I go to the meetings because I need the extra push.
