I'm in! And hopefully I will remember to post when I get them done!

The race card has been thrown so many times that it is meaningless and about as effective as a third grader yelling, O yeah, so's your mother. Some will cry racist at the drop of a hat these days. What you said was definitely not racist.

I am a Christian, but that is only part of the reason I chose to home educate my son. My son has autism and is considered "untestable" because of the severity of it. However, this does not mean unteachable. The last public school he attended chose not to agree with that statement. If he slept the majority of the time…

Dont forget to chop some up for salads. We also use the carcass to make broth from, and add bits of the turkey and whatever veggies we have around to make a nice soup.

Thanksgiving and Christmas means lots of good food and days of leftovers.... so while I'm going to enjoy every bit of it, I'm going to indulge in moderation. If any cheesecake is left, it's either going home with someone else or going into the freezer! I think I can behave with everything else. Other than that,…

In! I need to break this lazy streak of mine.

I'm going to buy something fun to celebrate. Don't know what yet, whether it be clothes or a new toy for my craft room, but I'll have a nice reward. Honestly, my first thought was have a celebratory dinner but there is no way I'm going to do that! Food is not a reward for me anymore.

In! I'm going to try and see how many I can do with the weights but I may fall back on the regular ones.

Honey Crisp is my absolute favorite.
-
That is great! You are an inspiration to me! I keep putting off the C2 5K because of my weight (I wanted to get to Onederland first) but you've proven it can be done. Thank you.

Go to www.hillbillyhousewife.com and search taco style lentils and brown rice. It is delicious! My son is ultra picky and he loves the stuff!

as long as your house is not really hot (to the point you can't stand it) they should be fine. The texture may be off, but I wouldn't throw out the entire bag. Just me.

Well, I'm going to attempt this one. I'll come back on tomorrow to let you know how many actually got accomplished. I have an arm that gives me fits so we shall see.
-
Wonderful! So happy for you! :flowerforyou:
-
Yeah, this one I can do! I totally wimped out yesterday because of my arm.

This. They are horrifically high in sodium, not to mention all the preservatives and other chemicals thrown in for fun. They are easy to fix and you know what you're getting calorie wise, but for me they are definitely not worth it.

I enjoy walking! I walk around our neighborhood a lot. Need to get back to it, actually. It's great exercise and very calming.

One of the blessings (and curses, lol!) of being in the south is the food and those who can cook it well! You can enjoy your favorites and still eat healthier. Make sure you get good exercise, watch your portion sizes, and learn to make salads and water your friend. I'm a sucker for fried food, especially if it's corn…

It probably won't make you lose weight any faster unless sodium is causing water retention, but it will definitely make you feel better to eat clean, at least most of the time.

Great job! Congrats on all your hard work!

It's one meal. Hopefully you remember the feeling next time you're tempted to eat more than you are hungry for. But you get back on the horse. Get back to your normal routine of diet and exercise, and maybe drink a bit more water. You can do this.
