I am on my last couple of pounds and what is working for me is upping my water intake, upping my calories (I started at 1200, and I upped to 1400 calories) , and I changed my exercise routines and DVDs up. That is what I am doing right now and it is slow and steady to win the race.

You do not have much to lose like me. I was not losing any pounds but inches. It is a good thing but I increased my water intaker ( I drank maybe 3 glasses a day) to 10 cups a day. Water exercise is a must and I watched the tv show heavy and they had a lady ride a tri- bike. That helped her alot. Try the lesile sansone. Walk at home DVDs. You can do these in the privacy of your own home and you can start by walking and when your weight starts falling off you can walk more. I love these DVDs.

Yes, if you want you can do it slowly. 1.5 lb. One week and the next 1 lb and then .5 to end with. I read on this site that someone trying to lose the last couple went on maintenance and it came off fast. Food for thought.

Hi, I think you are right about upping your calories. I did the 1200 calorie thing and I went no where. I upped to 1400 calories and I am back to losing. I agree with coils give it a couple of weeks to let your body get used to the up in calories. I did the same thing and it took about two weeks and I am losing weight again.

Using my Hrm I find the calories are about equal to logging under circuit training around 20-22 minutes. That is what I find.

If you are going to a physical therapist ask them what would be appropriate they know your body n Or you could get a trainer for a week or two? Either one of them would have the training to create an good safe program.

I just bought the new balance pearl. For about 69 bucks. I love it. It counts calories, lets you know when you are out of your zone and times it all. I bought it at target.

I just bought a new balance pearl Hrm. It is a chest strap with a wrist watch kind. I am obsessed with it. I find it to be right on it's calorie counts and it is fun to keep my heart rate at a acceptable level. Makes my workouts more efficient. I got it at target for 60 bucks.

I switched when after 8 days to level 2, I was getting bored with level 1, it was still hard as heck. I have done the same level 2 , 8 days in I switched. So I say keep it fresh so you don't stop doing it.
