How do calorie deficits work over time though? When do you "punch in and punch out" regarding the results? In other words, can one bad Saturday night ruin a few days work? I assume yes, but one bad Saturday cant ruin two weeks worth of work right, because you created multiple deficits each day?

Maybe consistency is the key. My daily goal is 1800 calories. Out of 63 days I hit 1800 or less only 15 times (25%) I had 16 days that were over 2800 calories and 6 days where I topped 3000.

I actually almost overshoot my calories. My logging is correct. I think exercise and water might help. I do understand weight loss is not linear but a one month stall is odd.
-
Well if you are trying to build muscle sure I agree, but 250 grams of protein for me daily? Not sure if that is realistic.
-
If thats true, then I would need three steaks a day or three chicken breasts a day to keep the protein at the right level. Or drink a protein shake everyday.

No people use DISEASE as a means to excuse themselves from taking responsibility and to feel better about themselves. As in being an alcoholic is a disease. But I do agree in that the term addiction is used too often as well.

The Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich has 33 grams of protein. More than a third of daily requirements.

I had my Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich an hour ago and I am hungry as heck right now. 1. I am going to back to intermittent fasting, by skipping breakfast daily or having a granola bar. 2. I am going to quit fast food drive thru for one year, starting today. (Road trips with family dont count)

From the "sweet tooth's" in the crowd, no doubt.

I sent you a private message. I think you are trying to troll me here.

Isn't that a given, you know, on the internet, opinions, etc? It is of my opinion that sugar makes ME hungry. Everyone happy now?
-
None of my co workers use MFP. What in God's name are you talking about?
-
How is that weird? Please explain. Yes, I think sugar is awful for you. I think sugar makes people more hungry and makes you crave, you know, more calories...
-
Yes I know why eating breakfast makes me hungry. Morning is when your cortisol peaks and that has an impact on your insulin secretion. For some people this might not be that much of a big deal, for me, it is off the charts.

We were at lunch. Yes I have told them Ive lost some weight and they said "well there you go".

A lot of you guys are mentioning movies that were well reviewed. A Fish Called Wanda scored 93% on Rottentomatoes Point Break was 68% but still fresh. I want you to dig deep. Only something under 50% Man on Fire with Denzel. 39%, I loved it.

When I know I am going to dine out I save my calories. I actually skip breakfast anyway but on a dining out day I skip breakfast, have a 300 calories soup for lunch, then I have 1500 calories left over and pretty much eat whatever I want at the restaurant and count it as 1500 even though it is less.

you go girl! awesome job!

The problem is, the industry continues to make money off of poor souls who think that an "ab-cruncher" machine = weight loss.
-
If you are in ketosis, I dont think your carbs or sugars are too high. Try going ZERO carbs for 48 hours and see if it improves. You also could be detoxing. This might be a good thing.
-
Total BS. I cannot believe a trainer bought into this myth.
-
I would recommend skipping breakfast. You seem to be built like me. I am fine all day then when I go home I eat like crazy. Why not save your calories for later? http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2013/08/06/a-beginners-guide-to-intermittent-fasting/

I have been trying to lose weight for a long time now. I used to have cheat days, not anymore. Cheat days have a 25% chance of starting something really bad and getting of course. I have bad self control, cheating cannot happen at all anymore.

Without giving us a height and weight we cannot help.

I don't think Heidi's response was THAT bad, come on. I mean, you come on here and ask people for advice and help. She gave it. It might be right or wrong, but she gave her opinion. I don't think it was "nasty, dogmatic ill-educated, rash, sanctimonious and shameful." I mean come on now. You basically bullied her into an…

Try skipping breakfast. Breakfasts makes you hungry: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2013/08/06/a-beginners-guide-to-intermittent-fasting/

That's the issue. You are being done wrong. You are a victim, especially how you went into so much detail about it. Tell those people to do their dishes and that you would like to cook in there from time to time. If they have an attitude, find somewhere else to live.

I dont like Diet Coke, but I have to say, Coke Zero is amazing.

Where did you get that MFP is recommending 1200 calories a day? It recommends 2000 for me. Are you talking about people only in your weight range? Your post makes it sound like MFP hands out a 1200 calorie recommendation globally to everyone!
