Everybody is individual, myself I can bounce around by 6lbs in the week or 2 running up to TOM then during to end will have a sudden drop. I now only weigh myself once a month at end of TOM as otherwise my weight chart would be jumping about all over the place and is so demoralising :noway:

A partial quote taken from http://www.penumbra.org.uk/how-can-we-help/services/alcohol-related-brain-damage-services About ARBD (Alcohol Related Brain Damage) "Long-term excessive alcohol consumption, coupled with a poor diet, and crucially the inability for the body to absorb thiamine (vitamin B1), leads to specific…

Bump I'd be interested to know this too!

I bring mine upto boil then let simmer for approx 10mins then switch off heat and leave for another 10/15 mins with a lid on to steam for remainder.
-
I have just checked out the food database that 100g COOKED = roughly 130 cals & 100g DRY = roughly 350 cals
-
I have found some from Discovery (Plain Flour) which are only 118 cals! so if you can get these it will be something you dont have to think about giving up.

Aya Aye there, Im in Abderdeenshire too, found this site about 6 weeks ago and havent looked back, good luck on your journey.

Veggies have a high water content so they should steam with the chicken inside your pocket of foil, I do this quite often with fish/chicken or quorn and add herbs and spices. I use carrots onions and courgettes and even add some thinly sliced potatoes.

 some men just don't seem to have what it takes

I love Tae Bo but my hubbs is so unco-ordinated he trips over his own feet:laugh: , so thought that Shred would ideal as no leaping about doing complicated steps, just jumping jacks etc. He was watching me do Zumba before I did Shred and freely admitted it would be a no go! I still dont think he will be doing the Shred…

3 levels over 30 days so I would say 10 for each level, but then you should not be really moving up the levels until you are proficient in the level you are currently doing

Started Monday this week, so im along for the ride

body temperature is increased at TOM so I wonder if this is the metabolism kicked up a notch which in turn makes you feel hungrier?
-
I do like a packet of crisps yummy, I make better choices though, like lower fat/cal versions or even pretzels.
-
 was having to hold the ladies down with one hand and alternate my arms whilst doing jacks and skipping, duct tape sounds a good idea though
-
I started the shred yesterday so im on the journey too, I didnt think it was too bad although the jumping jacks and skipping gave me blackeyes, need to invest in a real good sport bra:blushing: . Main ache is in the muscles just above my knees. Best of luck on your 30 day journey x

uk term for 14lbs

If I was doing skipping I would log under aerobic, depending on how hard/fast you are working general or intense
-
Just Dance 2 if you have Wii machine?
-
Oh wow will have to remember this, I havent moved for a week and half  but coming up to TOM so hopefully be back on track again soon. Seems a sensible way to do it as long as the weekly cals all add up, which on the ipod/phone app it shows this. Also think as you can have a little of something naughty on higher days…

Been using site for a month now, best thing since sliced bread! as you say so easy to find foods and to add if not in database. I like that you can create a recipe by adding all the ingredients and it will work out all cals fat carbs protein etc for each portion. Best of luck on your journey.

nope nothing else, tis great cos you dont have to buy a heap of other stuff to play, am thinking about getting Zumba for the Wii.
-
Fab Fab Fab need I say more When I do it I log it under Wii Low aerobic/intensity as was originally using Dancing general but thought the cals burned seemed a little high. I dont have an HRM at moment. What I like about it is I play with hubby and kids (we have a family game night) and it feels like fun rather than…
-
nope, just the main machine and hand controllers

sometimes when doing a big family meal like lasagne or spag bol I will use some beef mince with quorn, get flavour from the beef but drops fat and cals due to using the quorn. I use the fillets (2 for under 100 cals) quite often, I usually cook them with chilli powder, Paprika, onion and garlic granules with water, cook…
