Well, you don't mention your daily calorie goal or whether you exercised, but that doesn't seem like too much food to me.
-
Yes and no... A lot of people view their calorie consumption over the course of a week and the mobile app allows you to view it that way. That said, I would still log the food you consume on the day you consume it. You may also want to ask yourself why you are going over. How are your macros? Are you getting enough…

FitBit will not be helpful for strength training.
-
You aren't burning a lot of calories from weight lifting, but you can log it as "Strength Training" under cardio. Warning: This will give you only a very rough idea of calories burned and in all likelihood, will be an over-estimation. Good luck!

Thanks P4. I'm actually doing fine with weight loss. My plateau is in terms of weight lifting. All good advice, however...
-
Thanks for the input... This is pretty much what I was thinking, but it's good to have validation! I try to get into the weight room at least 2 to 3 times per week. It's a juggling act as I am also working on C25K.

Nuts (I like almonds and brazil nuts) cottage cheese greek yogurt cheese sticks fruit

Yes. You will probably need to find something to put the scale on to make sure it's stable. Maybe a large tile or something like that?
-
If it's really been so long that you can't remember, I'd suggest a call to your doctor... Like today.
-
It would seem so.
-
How many keys are you missing on your keyboard?
-
I'm not sure if this is relevant to your issue or not, but 1400 calories burned from 70 minutes on an elliptical seems very high. I do a pretty intense workout on the elliptical and for an hour, the most ever ever burned is 600 - 700 calories. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I am very skeptical.

According to your ticker, you have lost 5 pounds in what you describe as a few weeks. That's a great success! You can't dwell on one or several weeks that don't go as planned... Stick to your plan and you will do great! Good luck!
-
Stop looking... It's only on the phone and tablet apps, not on the PC.
-
If that's really all you eat, you don't need one.
-
It sounds like you are weighing yourself every 5 minutes. With only a few pounds left to lose, it's going to be like this (up and down a few). Be patient, stick to your plan and put the scale away. Good luck!
-
Eat whatever you want, as long as you maintain a calorie deficit over the course of the week.
-
If you radically changed your diet, you could have lost a lot of water weight that you were carrying around. In all likelihood, it will stabilize. If it doesn't, eat more. Good luck!
-
Well, for one thing, it sounds like you are weighing yourself way too often. Once per week tops. Regardless of which scale you get on, your weight will fluctuate daily, potentially by 5 pounds or more. But yeah, every scale is different. In all likelyhood, if you had gotten on both of these scales before you started losing…

Not sure about the fat fairy, but as I've read many times and know from experience, weight loss is not always linear. I sometimes go for a month or more without losing, then will be down 3 pounds, etc... It appears that you have only been at this since October, so my recommendation is to be patient, log all of your food…
-
Your diary is locked, but is that really all you are eating? How many calories per day?
-
At 860 calories per day, she is definitely not building muscle.
-
Well, they are typically pretty high calorie - at least 200, though I don't think Mars Bars have 15g of protein. Anyway, I think your question was something like, is it okay for protein bars to be your main source of protein. I am not a nutritionist, but that's not a good idea. You also say that you eat one or two a day...…
-
Whether you gain or lose weight is related to your overall calorie intake. If you are exercising more, you should be eating somewhat more, conversely, once you go back to work, you need to adjust you diet so that you are continuing to eat within your daily calorie budget.
-
I'm not sure about the fries, but your body needs protein after lifting. That's what you are craving. You might want to cut back on the burgers and find some healthier sources of protein. Of course, an occasional burger and fries is fine. Good luck!
-
This is all pretty much wrong.
-
I suggest just making your own shakes/smoothies. I use almond milk, whatever fruit I have around (fresh/frozen) and protein powder.
-
You're being neurotic (you asked for it!). Seriously, everyone's different. Some people lose nothing for a few weeks, while others lose a bunch. 2 pounds is great, congrats!
-
Small unbuttered popcorn is about 300 calories. I usually splurge on that.
-
Pretty much this ^^. Bottom line is that you can eat what ever you want, when ever you want, as long as you are in a deficit. If you want to eat a little less for the other six days and then on day seven have a "cheat" day, go for it. Good luck!
