I alter my own jeans. I have always had to. Perhaps you need to learn how.

Well written? Are you kidding?

Hand weights, 2 and 3 kg, fit ball. I also have 40 stairs going from the main floor to the top of my house, and a bicycle.

What's a shaker bottle and what would you shake in it?
-
It isn't. It's gross. ANd in my experience, it makes me more thirsty. Just chemicals.

OP: to answer your question, " Are we all good at something? " the answer is YES! Each of us is good at something, and nobody is good at everything.

This sounds like me. I can flit from one project to the next without missing a beat, or without finishing if I get bored with something. MFP is the structure in my "get healthy" plan.

I drink Diet Pepsi and I love it. Never gonna give it up! If I was going to ever have another child, I might rethink DP and some other things too, but since it's not going to happen, I'll continue drinking it. And no, it doesn't make me eat more.

I agree. Cheat days just set me up for failure. I don't cheat because I don't diet. I just do my best to eat healthily every day.
-
Wow! I can't even drink full fat milk any more, and I LOVE milk!
-
Love it! Can't stop laughing!
-
Then you're eating out at the wrong places!

I think if there were over 30 maggots in my can of mushrooms I'd be able to see them. That is, if I bought canned mushrooms. I prefer fresh ones. At least they have taste and texture.
-
That was rude and unnecessary. Perhaps OP is wondering if clean eating is an option for her.

You could rename yourself: "The Membership Police".

Oooh, nasty! Just because the OP has posted 233 times doesn't mean that 223 people have read the posts. How did you do that math anyway?
-
Ha ha, funny!

No used clothing shops in my area, but fortunately I know how to sew. Most of the clothes are out of my closet sitting in the sewing room waiting for alterations! Today is the last work day before a one month vacation.

I agree- do what works for you. I too, track everything. With lettuce, instead of weighing, I use a measuring cup.

Cow milk. I like the taste and the calcium. If I don't eat something dairy every day, my legs cramp and keep me awake at night. In this country there are no labeling requirements on food, so I have no idea what percentage of my milk is fat, but the carton does say "part skim" and "extra calcium". The milk has a thicker…

And this is a problem for you because.........??
-
this sounds strange. What will happen if you go more than 3 months without a period? How do you know you're not in full blown, as opposed to peri- menopause?

DON'T SKIP BREAKFAST! Better to eat even a little rather than nothing, because your body has been many hours without fuel. If possible, get out of the house when you're feeling like you want to overeat. If you're not near the food, it can't tempt you. I'm not going to friend you because I find I just don't have time for…

Who are you logging for? I log for me, I'm the only one who sees it, and I am always honest about it because the only person I would be cheating is me. You do what you think is best for you. I don't even understand why you are asking the general public this question.

I too love biking. I try to bike to work three times per week, 7 km each way. On the weekends I try to bike for at least an hour each day. After next week I will be on holidays, and I intend to spend that time working to increase my time. It currently takes me about 30 minutes to do my commute. My bike is nothing fancy, no…

I don't do cheat days or cheat meals. I usually eat out on Saturday and Sunday, but I don't think of it as "cheating" because then it would mean I'm dieting, which I'm not. I'm changing my lifestyle, so for me that means I can eat out when I choose, and then fit the food into my allotment for the day. If I allow myself to…

I have the same problem with my girly parts! And I'm sure 'm developing calluses where I don't want them! I'm in the market for a whole new bike, as I bike to work 3-4 days per week, 7 km each way, and do more on weekends.

Joining a gym is now a right???? I would expect any business owner would have the right, and the responsibility, to turn away anyone who he or she thinks may sustain an injury on the premises, or who might harm the business in some way. My God, these "right" have gone too far already! Some things are privileges!

I too kept my ovaries, and my cervix. Good thing, as I was in a drug study group a few years ago that would only accept women with a cervix!

I had a lap band in the late 1980's. Back then it was called gastroplasty. The doctor never mentioned malabsorption or "dumping" to me, and after reading about it in these posts I had to look it up. huh! I've been suffering from dumping all these years! I've gained back about 60 of the 150 I lost, and I'm working to get it…
