Had the same problem. I had got down to 184lbs went on holiday came back a week later & BAM 191lbs. I was pretty annoyed but after a couple of days of healthy eating and not intoxicating myself to a near fatal level each night I was down to 187lbs. Fast forward 2 weeks and I woke up this morning at 182.5lbs. So basically…

Probably jealous of the dedication you've put in for your weight loss program. Don't let them bring you down.

Few times a week, only record the weight every Monday morning. As long as there is a downwards trend I'm not too fussed

Not trying to be rude but I don't see your logic in being able to eat 900 or 2600. 1700 is easily achievable.

Well for example I always eat a good breakfast as it stops me snacking at work during those first few sleepy hours. I usually have something like an omelette with 3 medium eggs, 2 of which are just egg whites, 25g cheese and a couple of pieces of low fat ham or mushrooms. Count everything you eat, WEIGH your food. I remember when I started MFP. I found out 50g of cheese is much less than I originally thought.

I purely use my fitness pal to simply log my food. My motivation to continue is my health. We only live once and really, nobody has time to be fat or unhealthy. Once I really let that sink in losing weight can be quite a fun journey. Even when I hit my goals, look exactly how I want to look. The motivation will be how far…

"Also do you think that in time my body and mind will adapt to all the exercise and I'll actually feel like I have more energy and not less?" For sure. It does take time for your body to adjust! If I may ask how much exercise are you doing? I was in the same boat when I started, I ate to what a random website me in…
