If your juSt starting to ease back into working out, i wouldnt go with everyday..i would start slowly & ease back into it bc otherwise you could burn out quickly & be in more risk of not sticking with it as well. Even ifyou were to just start out commiting to 3-4x a wk, thats still a decent amount, coming from nothing at…

there really is no wrong way to workout but it all depends on your wants and your goals. If losing weight and slimming down is your goal, def focus on burning calories and doing cardio.. I would suggest adding in interval work, it burns more calories in shorter amount of time and keep your body burning calories after your…

there are soooo many ways to get a workout in and burn calories, you just have to experiment & try out different things and find out what you like and enjoy doing. Def stick to what you enjoy doing bc you are more likely to stick with it and do more of it! As far as myself, I love to Run!! I love doing a lot of interval…

Ill agree with the fact that you seem to be working out way too much and thats a lot of burned calories already so as to why you feel you need to burn more is slightly confusing but I wouldnt judge you. some of the responses are way too judgmental and not very helpful or encouraging. as far as your question goes I love…

sounds like your not eating enough especially if your only eating 1100 calories and NOT eating any or all your exercise calories back. The way this site is set up is for you to eat your exercise cals back so you net 1260 or whatever your number was and you will still lose that amount of weight your set to lose. I know not…

soreness is normal and expected. as long as its not intense pain or soreness, I wouldnt worry about having to neccessarily rest the next day bc of a little soreness, I never do. As far as going even harder.. Depending on how sore your muscles are I would maybe do a little less intense of a workout the next day and do some…

Pretty much all of Jillian Michael's workouts are considered circuit training. I as well do a lot of her workouts and always log it as circuit training! all of her moves are compound moves, working multiple muscles at once with no rest, which def is circuit work :) As far as the other, I have never done so im not sure.…

and I too will try to look up nutrition info ahead of time on the restaurant and stick to the healthier calorie options and plan ahead of time, what I will be ordering. Most restaurants these days have a "healthier" option section on their menu's so I always look for that as well!

eating out can be tough and tempting but there are most ALWAYS healthier options you can choose to stick to to still keep your calories in moderation! I always choose grilled, baked or broiled anything, never fried foods! Grilled chicken or broiled fish are my usual orders I go to and I always substitue a side salad or…

I hear ya. any set back from routine is challenging.. I def feel like I have become reliant on MFP and if I wasnt able to log on, I would probably die! I would just take in account everything you have learned along the way and do what im certain you know what needs to be done. It sounds like you will def be plenty active…

You will get smaller in the chest when you workout and lose fat, its pretty much inevitable and out of your control. I went from a full B to a freaking A :( It sucks yeah but it feels way better being healthy and in shape. Id rather workout and be in shape and happy with my body than worry about my chest size plus there…

yea if the embarassment stops you, try getting outside and working out, go for a walk or run. Honestly, I felt weird at first with my ex and would want to do workout dvds at home but over time I got over it.. Honestly, your man will probably find it totally sexy that your working out and he wont think nothing but good from…

I use both but probably the app on my iphone the most so I can stay ontop of it while Im busy and away from my home computer :)

I def agree with Charityleegs posts. YOU have to make the time, no matter what or how you do it. you have to keep in mind why you want this so bad and no matter what, you just have to make the time & make it a priority for yourself. I sometimes just simply dont want to workout but I just try to make myself just get up and…

As bad As I dont want to come off *****y I feel like there should be no excuses. It really comes down to the point if You make it priority or want it bad enough, you will make the time no matter what comprise you may have to make. That being said, I would first try making a small goal to yourself.. maybe like at least 3…

I had always wondered how to strike up more conversation w some of the guys just bc I thought the gym would be an awesome person to meet a guy…

im a HUGE fan of Jillian Michaels. all her workout dvds are great!! they are pretty much all circuit training and incorporate weights and strength... I suggest 30 day shred or ripped in 30 which are circuit training including Strength, cardio and abs all in a 30min workout!! she also has no more trouble zones that works…
-
I always do cardio and weights! I just have been devoting much more time and attention to strength training as I was in the past! =) it makes me feel good being in the weight area kickin butt right along with the boys!! Makes me feel strong and empowered and sexy!! so thats always a plus

log everything you eat (specially at first) drink LOTS of water, DONT drink your calories!! you save a ton just by stopping that, Workout at least 5x a week with at least 30-50 min cardio and make sure you do some strength training to reshape your body and to burn even more calories even while resting!! Engage with the MFP…
-
well first off, try looking it up in the database! MFP has quite a bit of restaurants in their database and you can also go on Calorieking and see if its on there! I always try to look it up ahead of time and try picking the best option ahead of time! otherwise ive pretty much been educated on what choices to pick from…

I LOVE all of Jillian Michaels dvds. they are great workouts and pretty much all of them are circuit training so your getting strength along with cardio too! Bob harper fitness dvds are also great. I swear by JM & Bob harper!

u should give yourself at least one rest day. You dont wanna over work yourself and get fatiqued out! your muscles need a little rest as well. Recovery time is just as beneficial =) Give yourself one day of rest AT LEAST! Your body needs it
-
you should think of that as a good thing! the fact that they notice how much your there shows how much effort your putting forth!! Im ALWAYS at the gym as well!!! Usually, everytime I go the same guys are there and they are prob thinking the same thing about me lol! One of the best compliments ive ever gotten was a guy…
