  • I can totally relate, but slightly different. I work retail and used to open 8-whenever, so I would head to the gym right when I got out... Now, for the past two weeks I've been doing closing shifts, And it drives me crazy because my mornings are filled with housework, and I just have been having trouble balancing my…

  • Finally fitting into some jeans that I have had laying round for a few years.... And my stomach doesn't look terrible when I wear them!!!! I've been holding onto them because I knew they would fit one day!!!
  • Your story is amazing! You look so much happier and healthier!!! Congratulations to you for all of your success! You made no excuses and just did it! So many of us make excuses because we're tired and sometimes don't have the motivation, but you are truly inspiring hun!!! We all can do what you have done!!!
  • I've added your stats to our chart!!! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QuQnTXajNxhhp2ImGjOzKlOHZyrQ8nRlpLeBNd6blrs/edit#gid=0

  • I hope you enjoyed your travel, though! It seemed as though you've been to some very great places lately!!! Hopefully this group is somehow helpful, despite how dead it seems around here! lol!

  • I sometimes have the same problem. I was going to the gym with a coworker for a few weeks, but she ended up getting a Pilonidal Cyst(I've had them in the past and they're a totally a pain in the butt... no pun intended), and hasn't been able to workout this past week. We're hoping that it is drained soon enough, and she…
  • I love the positivity in here too! I really would love for more people join this group so it would be more active and with even more support!

  • Reached all goals except for walk each day. Life's been hectic. Down to 213.8 :)
  • My cousin's wife lost ~130lbs. She now wears shoes that are two sizes smaller! Same as her rings went down too.
  • I got a not-too-shabby Century 21 digital scale. Its glass top and reads every .2 pound. It was $10 at Ocean State Job Lot, so its relatively cheap! They also have 20-30$ ones by Weight Watchers and other brands. Walmart has had some decent scales before, as well.
  • Funny thing is, is that I have been trying to inch in like that - "I've been losing weight, I'm not losing too fast, and I'm going at the right pace. I don't think your way is wrong, but I find that for me, it's much simpler to count my calories and eat at a deficit." I swear, the only thing we agree on is that you can…
  • Yes. It's like 24/7 in my face... Except for when he works! I would LOVEEE to tell him off, but he's just 80% a**hole, and I just try to shrug it off, even though it makes my blood boil! It's like he constantly wants to make fun, like what I am doing is a total "joke". But what makes it worse, is if I turn down food at a…
  • Thank you all for the ideas.... I will reread this in the morning and throw some meal together for the week!
  • Thank you hun :) That's a good thought about the veggies... I could probably get steamer packs and just do it that way, maybe... (psst! Hello to the second Connecticut person in the thread :) @Queenmunchy Is from CT too... Thought it was interesting :)
  • That egg bake looks SO delicious! I will definitely give that a shot! And those 10 meals all of them are making me so hungry!!! Lol! Thank you so much for the links/recipes!!! :)
  • I would say your best bet is to ask some IRL.... Maybe you know a friend or a family member that is trying to lose weight or get in shape??? I go to the gym with a coworker ~2x a week, and then do my own thing the rest of the week... It'll be like 1 in a million to find somebody you can meet IRL on here(maybe not, but I…
  • OMG that makes me think of this buffalo chicken dip I used to make... It had cream cheese in it though, but it was so seriously delish... I can only imagine the sandwich now that you mentioned it! Sounds like a yummy one!!! I'll have to look into the calorie count for that!
  • Thank you. I do weigh all my foods out and I do have pre-weighed nuts and all that already set up (I weigh those out the same day I buy them, so I don't have to think twice). I've been weight all my foods since February, so I've got a handle on how prepackaged food isn't as it seems.. The idea of bringing veggies/meat is…
  • That sounds like a great goal and totally doable!!! I just got out of the 220s a few weeks ago! So looking forward to the 200s soon enough!!!!!!
  • Hey Ivette :) Added your stats to the spreadsheet I started. It's viewable in the main post, but here's the link: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1QuQnTXajNxhhp2ImGjOzKlOHZyrQ8nRlpLeBNd6blrs/edit#gid=0 My spreadsheet skills are not great, but It'll get better!

  • * You need to weigh your foods. Chances are your portions are much bigger than you think. You have to be overeating. * Watch the sodium in your foods-many will think they're "gaining weight" when it can just be bloat. Drink more water, and "gains" aren't abnormal, they're just daily fluctuations. * Do not listen to whoever…
  • My 23rd birthday is in October. I'm hoping to be around 190by then. Currently weigh 217, started at 248.8... It may not be realistic, but I'll see where I go from here. 58lbs down sounds grand though!
  • Your goal of 150s sounds definitely attainable! At your current weight .5 -1.0 lb sounds like a good goal to aim for each week! And I want to add to my goal to add in dumbell exercises!
  • Not very helpful, but I often grab a McChicken Patty from there when I get out of work late at night. I don't get the mayo/lettuce or bun, so it only comes out to ~160cals per patty. I find it rather filling and it doesn't give me any blah feelings... There are low cal options like their grilled chicken salad, but be…
  • Awesome :) Pleased to meet you! I'm just sorting out the spreadsheet now, so hopefully I can post it so everyone can view the charts!
