Thanks for your replies guys. I keep reading on here that if you dont eat back your burned calories and drop below a net of 1200 (which i would if i didnt eat some back) that your body would go into starvation mode and start storing fat!? I tend to eat around 2/3 back but Im new and only been using MFP for just over a week…

Wow what a wonderful story, you look fantastic! I only started on MFP a week ago and have a similar starting weight to yours. I also have the same problems with confidence and self esteem that you started out with, I was in tears just reading your post. What an inspiration you are, well done x

Sorry to sound silly but does that mean if I burn 600 calories exercising that I can eat an extra 600 calories and still lose weight?

Can someone tell me what TDEE is (im new) Also i went swimmng today for an hour doing breaststroke, I did stop at each end for a few seconds to catch my breath so I put it down as 30 mins and it was calculated as 600 calories burnt!! I am very overweight. The 600 calories then got added to my daily intake, is that right?…
