  • Welcome! Measure, weigh, and log everything. Drink water. Be honest with yourself. You can do this!
  • Thank you. I am hoping to be able to do the race on my own as I am able. It has been so much fun!
  • Hi Team... I have asked to be replaced on the team as I have pneumonia. It has been fun racing with you. Good luck!
  • Vicki - Sending hugs and prayers for you and the family. My heart aches for you.
  • Sorry six packers... the only walking I've done the past two days has been between the bedroom and the bathroom. Felling slightly better tonight.
  • Got my walk in this morning before the wind and rain hit. We've had a couple of flood warnings... Happy weekend everyone!
  • I love raw cauliflower, but can't stand the smell or taste of it cooked. My family likes it cooked with creamed havarti or mozzarella, however, they won't set it raw.
  • My husband loved Challenge 2! We did this on valentine's day... he thanks the creators of this challenge.
  • Challenge 1: Kickboxing. Wow, am I uncoordinated! The videos were fun and challenging. Several times I replayed portions to be sure I knew what the steps (moves), etc were. I think I'll stick to zumba.
  • @jdelaroy - So sorry to hear about the surgery. Please listen to your dr and rest. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
  • So, the food I've been not willing to try is sushi. (Challenge 3) On valentines day we went to our favorite restaurant, and although I ordered my usual dinner, I did try a piece of my husband's sushi. Yuck! Why would any one eat a big piece of raw fish?! Honestly, the California roll wasn't horrible because it has rice and…
  • Sorry team, I did not get in any dedicated minutes today nor did I complete the stairs. Although it doesn't count in the competition, I will complete those darn stairs... just because I always try to complete what I start.
  • I didn't realize my balance was so pathetic! I will be doing to exercises more than twice! I'm working on my stairs... with all the rain my walking group has been meeting at the mall so lots of stair opportunities. Great job six packers on your commitment to these challenges.
  • Do you like donating? There are many organizations that could use those items. Even your local school may have a use for new, unopened items. Our local schools use those items in fundraiser baskets, and in the student "good behavior store" at Christmas time so the kids can "buy" presents. We are a high low income district.…
  • @jelaroy - so glad her ankle wasn't broken! Great job at getting in some steps while cooking rather than sitting. Hope your weekend is fantastic!
  • My river cruise stops in Vienna for the day on April 23. Looking forward to seeing your beautiful city!
  • Just realized I didn't fully complete the challenge.. my name is Rachel, and my fur baby died unexpectedly December 19th. We'll be looking for a new dog in June.
  • Good Morning! This is my first Amazing Race challenge, too. I am 55, been married for 28 years and have two college students (so no money for a gym membership). My favorite exercise is walking, and I'm taking line dance classes... I never would have thought I'd get so sweating line dancing. I live in Southern California…
  • Hope we travel to some amazing places!
  • I use a garmin forerunner with chest strap and wondered about comparisons with wrist units... always thought the machine read outs were high. Thanks for posting.
  • Well done! That feeling of accomplishment is so contagious that you'll want to do it 3-5 times a week. I loved my pedometer when I first started walking... my goal was to walk just a few more steps than the day before. It is amazing how motivating that can be. Congrats on your first mile!
  • Sooo cute! You're doing great!
  • Walk, walk, and walk some more! Someone posted on another thread that they do 10 lunges every time they use the bathroom. Dance with your children... everyone loves to move to music.
  • Nice! Can't wait to hear/see your final results!
  • Excellent! Enjoy the stores, the fashion! I'm starting a new fashion trend... taking in my pants (cause I can't buy new ones) and now the back pockets either meet at the center seam or the inner corners have been lopped off so they aren't full size pockets any more at the center seam.
  • These are awesome of your progress! I can certainly see a difference. Be proud of your accomplishment!
  • You're looking great! No NSV for me this week... yet.
  • I love to walk/hike the hills and parks. I'll have to get out early this next week to avoid the heat.. heading into the 90s.
  • You've done so well. Congrats! You look great... and the baby has gotten so big!
  • Wow! Thanks for the amazing and inspiring story. Congrats!
