  • Since April I have also been dropping the same 2 lbs. back on then it's back off. I'm feeling your frustration. .
  • I'm in the same boat. I have been increasing since April, slowly. I've only gained. I don't know if I should keep climbing or cut now.
  • Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the help/advise. But you gotta see my side when since April, all I have really done is gain weight. Plus being down with this broken toe, just saddens me more. When I look at my TDEE less 20% now with less activity. It has me at 1,576. ( that's with 1-3 days of exercise)
  • The beginning of April my first post I was 145 It seems as though cause I just keep getting told to change my numbers. One of you says go to 1500, then the other 1600, then 1700. I can't lose, if I do it's very temporary. Then I gain. I'm trying to eat cleaner.

  • Well it's not like I'm not trying. All this whole process has done is depress me. I can't lose for nothing , I can gain no problem. So last week my average was 1,667. And I gained.

  • Hitting 1700 is hard, last week I had several days I made sure I hit it. But someday it's tough. I'm just not hungry.
  • Well like 2 days later I was 151 ( 7/4) I tried hard to stay closer to 1700 each day I dropped to 149 on 7/12, still today at 149. In 2 wks I plan to start the new focus T25
  • I know I haven't hit 1700. I'm trying. It's my goal this week. I got a new scale. Bought same brand and similar style. Weighted in on Sunday, 149.2 Stomach was only measurement change, down 1/4 inch
  • I have checked measurements, all the same. I'm guessing scale is too. Haven't found the scale I'm looking for. Yeah my fear is it not be same as my other scale was.

  • Ok this morning-150.6. Hoping up is from going back to weights after two weeks and is water retention I did measurements, all the same. Well except arms are up .25 inch.   • I meant to say , I've been getting rid of excess fat and gaining lean muscle But the stall in weight loss at all puzzles me. I know the 7 lbs isn't fat gain, not if measurements have stabalized too
  • I have been up 7 lbs since early April. I've tried so many things. Did a refeed, increased calories. The last two weeks I've done less weight lifting and more cardio just to see.
  • Everything I read online shows an average of 10 calories per min of jumping jacks. I checked MFP and if I put jumping jacks, vigorous in for 1 min it calculates 9 calories burned.
  • That sounds very high for a 44 sec workout. I use a HR monitor to get an accurate burn. ( I should put it on and do 50 for you)
  • 2 weeks later. Bouncing between 148.8 and 149.2.
  • Protein shakes are great to increase intake. I love mine after my workouts or in a smoothie for breakfast.

  • Few things I picked up on: 1- many days sodium is high 2- protein is always low 3- not eating clean ( chips, soda, cookies, lots of processed foods) What's your current workout? Didn't see it logged? Not sure about calorie intake. Did you set it or fitness pal?

  • Yeah fluctuation bites. Today I was up, 150.8. But I had a few drinks camping sat night. So I'm going to clean up diet again today, back on the horse and keep going
  • Well last Sunday 151.4 I wasn't able to weigh in today, we were camping. I happen to check on Thursday ( 148.8) then Saturday morning 149.2 I'll check tomorrow now that I'm home and o my weekly measurements.
  • How many calories are you eating? What's your average calories burned?
  • I do, then I remember taking them. Medically I'm on 1200 mg of omega 3- fish oil 3 times a day. My pils are 15 calories each. It adds 45 calories to my day.
  • I was told to lose weight and have lean muscle mass to stick with 40% carbs,30% fat and 30% protein. Usually if I go over in any category it's protein.
  • Oh cause online it showed calories burned. So I assume its just estimating by steps?
