Learning to stay away from the scale

Fitbit, which one?
I'm considering a fitbit, but I'm not sure which one would be right. I currently use a heart rate monitor to get my calories burned. Mine is a chest strap type and can be a pain at times. So I want something that will still accurately track that by activity. Suggestions??

Weight gain
I'm trying to wrap my head around what's going on with me. From December 2011- July 2012 I lost 30 lbs. from July 2012 - December 2012 I would go down and come back up. Sweat
This might sound funny, but when I workout I sweat and not just a little. I'm soaked. Hair soaked and clothes soaked. I look around and no one is as soaked. Is it a good thing that I'm sweating that much? I wear a heart rate monitor, my heart rate is always ok.

Lean legs
So everyone says to get lean legs you need to lift, do squats. I recently increased the weight I do and added an extra set of squats and dead lifts to my weight training. Today I put on my favorite jeans and they are tight in the thighs. :( . Wondering if this Is temporary due o muscles holding water or repair?

Stuck

weight loss stopped
Maybe someone has been in my shoes and can offer some advise. I started my weight loss journey a year ago. Since then I have loss 31 lbs. However since around August I can't seem to lose. hit a wall
Has anyone else been losing weight and then hit a wall? I started late December, I have lost 28 lbs to date. But over the last several weeks I'm stuck. I may drop 1-1.5 lbs and then it is back the next week. Can't seem to move past. I workout daily. Currently doing p90X, jogging 2-3 x a week, kickboxing 1x a week.
