Yes. Fruit or yogurt with a pre-workout protein shake around 7am. Go to the gym 7:30-8:45. Afterwards, another protein shake and an egg. For lunch it's can of tuna fish, an apple, and string cheese. 100 calorie of almonds an hour later. Yogurt an hour after that. Some kind of protein bar an hour after that, and then it's…

Another thought is to use dumbbells (easier to ditch to the side if you hit failure). And as someone above posted, for almost anyone it's not a big deal to ask for a spot, even if they have their earbuds in.

If it were a single switch, that would work...but, they both are double switches, and one switch is correct. :explode: Maybe they are actually two switches - I'll look into this tonight!

You have joint custody, and you are the primary caregiver? Move. Yes, tell him your new address. If it's 15 minutes away, no one (in poisition of authority) is going to take any complaint seriously. Have your paperwork handy (stating that you are the primary custodian) if the police show up. Focus on your kids futures. If…

I do this for the upstairs hall light. But the builder messed up the downstairs hall light, so one switch is up and the other down when the light is off. Same thing in our garage. All other lights are in the down/off position. Oh, I curse the builder several times a week.

Do the StrongLifts (SL 5x5) three days a week, and you should be able to do things like cardio (running, biking) or yoga on alternate days for 30-45 minutes. I wouldn't go overboard with the cardio though. You're not trying to gain muscle, since you're still eating at a deficit. Stick with that plan, and you should be fine.

First, I'm no where near being a "runner" compared to many on these forums. I run 2-3 times a week, for a distance of 3.5-4 miles, or a 20 minute HIIT pyramid run. That said, I'm aware of a LOT of females who can run me into the ground. That's okay. Most of them are younger, and dare I say nice to watch while running away…

In for the advice as well.

@Sophia - Although you look very cute, you're younger than my middle daughter - so sorry, nope.

Agreed - 150 calories - that's like 1/2 cup of cottage cheese (1%) and an egg - not exactly a "meal". My breakfast was more than four of this guys meals. :noway:

Um, I find women to be more of a challenge

I'd like to do the SL 5x5 three days each week, but I am only at my gym four days a week. Re: maintenance, thanks, I'll try to do the maintenance for a few weeks before trying to add weight. Re: my training being everywhere - I do the full body workout with friends - lifting and running is by myself. I guess that I don't…

Ugh - so sorry - was replying to the person who posted this link http://www.lizardpoint.com/geography/usa-quiz.php?type=randmenu They give you three points for a correct guess, so there's still only 50 states - :-)

Got 149/150, because I didn't think that it took my click when I clicked on Hawaii - (It took it, and was asking where Maine was - lol). I know the states alphabetically, and all of the capitals (though there are a couple that I have to really rack my brain to remember). I guess that this newer generation doesn't study…

Yes, the point of running in HIIT is to run like something is chasing you, not just a leisurely run. Sometimes I'm so tired after the 4th or 5th run, that I feel like I might fall off. I'm willing time to speed up so that I can hit the button to go to walking speed, while hanging on to the sides/front of the treadmill. If…
