  • Yeah, that (for me) is the good/bad thing about it. This time around (only about the umpty-jillionth time), I'm trying to stick with an acceptable 5-pound range for my weight. If I go by how my clothes fit, I'd gain 20 pounds and still be able to wear everything. Well, maybe not my size 10 skinny jeans - but everything…
  • I use some of my exercise calories as "slush" for errors (deliberate or otherwise) in calculating both calories I eat, and any miscalculations in exercise. The more I exercise, the more hungry I am, so I will sometimes eat as much as 50% of the exercise calories, depending on the day. If I'm being honest, I should probably…
  • I love the way Not Your Daughter's Jeans fit, and the way they look. I also like Gloria Vanderbilt stretch denim jeans. NYDJ are expensive in retail - I get them at Nordstrom Rack.
  • I'm 6' and wear somewhere between 11 and 12, depending on the shoe - which is why I never order shoes online. I have to try them on first. For athletic shoes, I usually just get a men's shoe size 10 because they seem to fit better.
  • Doesn't MFP give you this information when you change your settings to maintenance? Otherwise, try the calculator at calculator.net. For my goal weight of 170 pounds, at 6'-0", it's almost 2000 calories/day.
  • I intersperse it with workouts on my Treadclimber and I really like it. And yeah - the discounted price is great, albeit somewhat aggravating for those of us (me!) who paid $80 for it last year! The commercials always show the dance workouts - which are fun, and challenging. For some reason, they don't show the strength…
  • Try rowing? Also, I found my problems with plantar fasciitis disappeared as I lost weight. It hasn't flared since I lost the first 50 or so pounds. Hopefully, those of you who also suffer will have the same experience.
  • I find body differences so fascinating. I'm 6 feet tall and currently between 220 and 225 (depends on the day) and I wear a tight size 16. I'd have to lose another 15 pounds to get into the size 14 stretch shorts I bought last year. The last time I fit a size 12, I weighed 155 pounds. For about 2 weeks. LOL!
  • I'm 6 feet and I'm shooting for 175, which was my "heavy" weight when I was single. In my younger years, I maintained a weight of 160. **sigh** And I thought I needed to lose 10 more pounds! Looking back at the pictures, it was a good weight for me. I'm going to try and get there again, but I'm not going to tear myself up…
  • An even 6 feet here!
  • I've been happiest with Not Your Daughter's Jeans. I like the fit, and they're long enough. I can usually get them for 50% of retail at Nordstrom Rack.
