Can accomplish a LOT in 90 days. I went from 235 back in March to 197 today!
-
Definitely track everything. But also might be time to mix up the workout routine. Try going on an epic day-hike, or a really long bike ride or something to spice it up
-
Yeah, I've checked a number of sites, and got a general consensus. MFP is pretty accurate, but it helps to balance it out with more than one intensity. I log running and bicycle riding regularly. Found that splitting my 60 min run into maybe like, 30 min at 9mph and 30 min at 6mph gets me a pretty accurate hour logged. Can…

No, but I've always wanted to!

I know - kind of embarrassing to admit to Michelobs, haha. That's good though, I figured it had to be some sort of water retention. Time to get back to my normal routine and drop it back off! And the hike was amazing! We stayed along the south rim, but hiked off the main path to the less-crowded areas. It was so much more…

Yeah, there was some trail mix and a 6" subway turkey. Probably plenty of sodium. Hopefully in a few days it will balance out. If anything, I feel more dried out than usual. But I figured that's just the desert air. I'm a beach guy

Cheap beer. Believe they were Michelob's - not the Light kind
-
hahaha, nickelbacks so lame

Funny thread! Definitely a few weird things about losing weight I never expected to run into. Here's a few: 1. My *kitten*! It hurts when I sit on hard surfaces for a lil while. I used to be so well padded! 2. When I sleep, I now hafta have a pillow between my legs or my hips hurt. Used to have natural padding there, now…

sold a lot of my fat shirts on ebay. got like 10-15 bucks a piece, surprisingly. gave away most the rest. gotta keep an old pair of jeans though. lotta memories, plus its a crazy before and after

Ugh, two massive pieces of deep dish pizza yesterday, and then another one reheated today. So good though! Gotta do it once in a while
-
lmao, love the Seinfeld reference!! I dont think i'd say anything if my masseuse turned out to be a male, but that would definitely be kind of awkward
-
yeah, there's lots of good low-cal ranches out there. I use Marie's Light Creamy Ranch. I find it delicious, and it's only 30 calories per tablespoon
-
Gotta admire all the dedication in here! I dont think I could handle cold-weather running... spoiled with CA weather, I suppose. I run in shorts even in winter, lol
-
pretty amusing list. I'm yet to pee or soil myself, so maybe im doing something wrong (or right, as it were)... i disagree with running being expensive though. Every 6 months I buy a $30 pair of shoes... shorts, sweatpants... nuthin pricey if i were gonna add one to the list it would involve nipple chaffing! :noway: What…

the grilled chicken is fried, lol. yeah, my school's laughably unhealthy too. I never eat there. I hear ya on the money issue, but for me, buying healthier options at the grocery store is still slightly cheaper. Just nowhere near as fast or convenient...

I think pale, or "fair" skin as I like to call it is perfectly fine, especially on women. Some of the most beautiful girls I've ever known have been fair-skinned. I was just having this convo with a close friend the other day. She stresses getting tan like it's mandatory. I keep telling her how gorgeous she is with fair…

^ This. Have fun. You'll burn off the calories in a $9 churro in no time, haha. I grew up right next to the OG Disneyland. Still love that place

I had the same problem when I first started (I also started with walking). My hamstrings would hurt, also my ankles and knees - it sucked. For the hammy's, stretching is super-important. What worked for me was stretching before and after. Walk for like 5 minutes, then stretch. And then do it again after you're done. Made a…

It's pretty difficult, but definitely doable. I managed to lose weight while working and going to school full time, Only real tips I can give is that exercise seems to help no matter what time in the day it's done. I usually don't find time to run til after class around 10 pm, but it still helps. And idk about you, but…

my weight can vary by as much as 7 lbs on a given day - I think it's normal(ish) never understood why ppl say they weigh like "181" or something. Just round it off. It fluctuates anyhow - least that's how I look at it
-
Yeah, they're on the food log. Pretty accurate. Unless you eat a bunch of stuff at every lil kiosk,it's usually a couple hundred calories. And definitely some carbs, fat and sodium. Worth logging, but it's not a make-or-break thing for your diet usually

Good for Coke. I love diet soda, drink one pretty much every day, sometimes more. Moderation's always a good thing, but cutting out 30-40 grams of sugar in just one beverage is pretty amazing :drinker:

Running in the rain sounds fun! I'm already soaking wet when I run anyways, might as well add some inclement weather to make you feel more bad *kitten*, haha! Don't see a whole lot of rainy days in san diego, however :glasses:

Hmm, throwing in spinach seems popular. Is there any weird taste or consistency cuz of the spinach? I'm a big fan of milkshakes, so my fave smoothie has always been: - a banana - cup of soymilk - I use Silk light vanilla - 1 tbsp peanut butter - 1/2 cup ice cream - I use the churned, no-sugar-added variety. Only adds 5…
