I used my charge on my treadmill today. I think it did well. I really did not hold on with my left hand much. Be for I started My charge read .37 miles. After, the treadmill said I walked 1.0something miles and my charge read as 1.34 miles So, pretty close, I'd say.

One other thing 're: GPS vs pedometers, the GPS trackers won't record your miles on a treadmill, because your location never changes. The fitbit app on my phone will track GPS location if you tell it to . (I think it integrates with map my run) but that won't help your battery life.

I really loved my fitbit one. Although pocket pedometers never worked as well for me, something about the way I move I guess. I would walk with my hubby and he would register half again more steps then me. (not just the one but 3 different pocket pedometers I tried. The One did better then the cheap ones.) I just got a new…

Just buy a few things. You don't want to go buy a whole new closet of things - but getting a few new things that fit nice will really show you how much you have accomplished and be a good motivator. (at least that is how it usually works for me..... :) )

If he truley thinks he is helping you and is not just an *kitten*, then you need to sit him down and tell him that HE is hindering your progress by making you feel bad about yourself. Losing weight is hard enough without that kind of baggage. Using "I" sentences works better then "You" sentences. You know, I feel this way…

I've made it twice now, once with pork, to dry, and once with chicken thighs and it was wonderful.

If you don't eat enough calories then your body may think you are in a famine and try to put as much into fat stores as it can. i can't tell you where that point is....it may be different for each person. My understanding is, however, that if you simply burn more calories then you eat you will continue to lose.

I've never had a quest bar - might have to try one....but the Luna Protein bars are yummy. So far I have had Cookie Dough and Chocolate Mint. Only 170 calories each.

Before I started this "lifestyle change" (Not calling a diet) I would take haddock and coat it in Ritz Cracker crumbs and bake 15 min at 500 F. Even my youngest loves it and asks for "fish chicken nuggets" I plan to try to make mine with Panko crumbs, and see how it comes out. Just about any salt water fish is good grilled…
