Since I started tracking (less than a month ago), a little over 2600. There's no telling what the most was prior to that. I'm sure it was really high! I guess I'll see the next holiday or cookout. :)

I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure the goal would be to not have more than 2500 mg. Some sodium is fine but over 2500 would be overdoing it I believe. I'm not sure what the minimum recommended amount of sodium is or if there is one.

I don't know what it is... but it sure is delicious! I love it and always have. I don't eat it as often as I used to (I only eat meat in one or two meals a week usually)... but I don't see myself ever giving bacon up completely!
