I need to start doing this! I normally eat one meal a day (dinner), and I get all of my daily calories within that one meal. If I eat any other way, I never feel full. I don't eat lower calorie foods though, but because I'm getting it all in one go, it's still a lot of volume. I don't think one meal a day is good for your…

I just remembered that I got a tiny scale as a gift a while ago. I pulled it out and weighed a smaller slice from the end of the bag: 30g. The serving size is 40g, and the big middle slices were far larger than this one that I weighed. So I guess it's probably average...which is disappointing because that means when eating…

I'm not sure what the power percentage is on my microwave, but I know it doesn't heat things up very quickly. I put them in for two minutes and then just sopped the water up with some paper towels. It was still a little crunchy, but not bad at all! :)
-
I made them for dinner tonight and tried the lazy microwave method...and they were still so delicious! Zucchini pasta is the best idea ever.
-
I was mostly concerned about them being watery, so the salt and drain method would probably be great! So much prep time though! I'm the type of cook who would throw them in the microwave and dry them off with a paper towel, lol.

Greek yogurt smoothie popsicles! 80 calories!

Anorexia athletica is a sometimes inadvertent disorder that uses exercise as a form of purging calories. Regardless of "nutrition", your organs need more than 500 calories/day to function properly. Without adequate energy, your body will start using muscle tissue for fuel. +1 for equality - biologically we ALL need to eat…

This is what I miss the most about needing to gain weight. Ice cream EVERY DAY. Clif bars are also great!

Thanks for the picture, Firecat! :) Well, I made the approximate serving size, ate the approximate serving size, and then decided that pasta is evil. It is so delicious and never filling.
-
Kirkor - Thank you for the photo comparisons! That's awesome! Thanks also to everyone else! I just don't eat pasta that often, so measuring it accurately has never really been that important. But at .99 cents, who can complain? I'll definitely be grabbing one of those. :)
-
Firecat - That would be amazing, thank you! :) Stealthq - I also eat cereal from a two cup bowl. That is really surprising about how small the serving size would be in there! Ah, the joys of pasta.

I have heard about possibly seeing a chiro OR a massage therapist to realign the pelvis. I have always been wary about chiropractors. How do they even go about doing something like this? I'm going to get a foam roller and a dixie cup this weekend and will let you know how it goes!
-
The unfortunate specifics of my issue is that my body mechanics are just balls. One side of my pelvis is higher than the other, so it contributes to my knee tracking issue. And I can't afford physio, unfortunately. I am scheduled for an ultrasound on my knee next week, but we pretty much already know what it is. X-rays…

NO WAY. Are these the sweet little tofu hats from every sushi place ever that just has rice inside of it? I love these and don't eat fish, so when I go out to sushi places, I eat like 20 of these at a time...along with other food. Hahaha. Oh gosh. 100 calories each?! How can this be?!
-
Indulge: I could stop eating this, but I'm not going to worry about it today. Feeling good! Treat yo self! Binge: xxxx calories later, lying in pain in the fetal position with an alien baby trying to crawl its way out of my belly.

This is fantastic news! I'll check it out. Thank you! :)

I don't understand why everyone is suggesting that I don't shop at the right kind of store. I absolutely appreciate the suggestion (because I didn't make it clear in the first place); however, I am not new to running. I AM new to trying to treat a longstanding running injury. I have had my a gait analysis done at two…
-
No returns after running in them, unfortunately (at either of the running stores I went to). I don't understand how you're supposed to be able to find the right pair without being able to actually run in them. I could burn through many dollars that way looking for a pair that my knees are in favour of!
-
I went to a running specialty store (Running Room) and also a more local running specialty store.

*bump*

I went to a couple of running stores and had them look at the way I walk. Both of the employees said that I look pretty neutral, maybe with very slight overpronation. One of them (before I told her what my doctor said) suggested that I run in neutral shoes or even more minimalist shoes like the Nike Frees. After I told…

Oh man, I would love to be a part of this! GO HUFFLEPUFF!
-
I wouldn't worry about one day, but definitely don't make a habit of it! Eventually, netting so few calories will catch up to you...and it's a pain in the bum when it does! You basically will end up choosing between your body shutting itself down or deciding to eat more (and when you do choose to you know, not die, you'll…

I guess it does just depend on the person and what they're capable of handling. Just because one method works for someone, doesn't mean it will click perfectly with someone else. I feel like what I have been doing is completely sustainable....maybe not for some people, but it is for me. I really just expected everyone to…

Hahaha, OOOOOOOR, 3 pieces of pizza and an ice cream! And salad tomorrow! :)
-
I know I can eat pizza and stuff regularly and still lose/maintain my weight. It's just A LOT easier for me to avoid those foods that make me go a little food crazy. It's pretty much impossible for me to eat like, three slices of pizza and then just BE FULL. I would must rather have just the whole thing. Hahaha. I love…

This is the most fantastic challenge I've seen on MFP! I'm going to watch and see what happens!

OH MAN, I forgot all about pumpkin flavoured everything! I'm definitely going for a pumpkin donut.

Fruity dessert quinoa! Mix it with some warm diced apples, blueberries, strawberries, and cinnamon! Mmmmmm!
