OMG! You must be long-lost twin. I have to leave the house by 7:15 a.m. every morning. I bolt out of bed at 7:00 a.m. , hit the shower, dress with lightning speed and am out the door. I eat breakfast at work. I can barely get to work on time, nevermind workout. I've tried it, but with the days being dark in the morning (I…

Thanks to all the new people who have joined the group. C25K is off to a great start! Anyone can join. You go at your own pace! Join us!

Di, soooo glad to have you here! Don't stress yourself out trying to catch up. That's why I post each day of the program. You can click on Day 1 of any of the weeks and see the schedule for that week! Little by little, it gets easier. Go slow, enjoy it, watch your body get stronger!

WE are proud of YOU, too!

It's great to have you here, Mangsney! No need to keep a regular schedule on our account! We are just here to support each other. And, repeating days is good! Keep doing the week over until you master it and then move on to the next. You will be amazed at how much you can do at the end of the 8 weeks!

Sent you a request via Garmin Connect, Jen!

Oh my lord, I found you, but can't figure out how to add you...and I am pretty technically astute...arrggghhh

Hi, there! I just friend requested you on MFP and am going to attempt to connect with you on Vivofit. :)

Hi, Everyone! My name is Dee, and I am glad to be here. I used MFP a few years ago and lost 50 lbs! Unfortunately, the 50 lbs and a few of its buddies have come back to reside on my body! I am currently 50 years old and am trying to lose 70 lbs overall. I have a sedentary desk job in a hospital. I see what obesity does to…

Can't wait!
-
I'm in! 20 lbs in 12 weeks is doable -- not easy, but doable.
-
Sage advice! Love this!

I am 50 and tomorrow I will do Week 3, Day 2 of C25K. Have you started Week 3 yet! Wowza! :)
-
C25K does work! I am substantially heavier than you, have foot issues and am still able to do it! Granted, I go very slow -- my jog may be other's walk -- but this is between me and the ground, so it does not matter. I do it on a treadmill. I started a group for others who weren't sure about C25K if you'd like to join…

Phenomenal! Thank you so much for sharing your story and all of these great pics!

Wow, Loren, you run FAST! I would need an ambulance at 5.2 mph, for sure! I will be on W3D2 tomorrow..so we are almost at the same place!

I would like to lose 5 lbs by 10/31 •SW: 220 lbs •CW: 210 lbs •GW: 205 lbs by October 31st •UGW: 150 •10/02 Fri: 210 lbs. •10/09 Fri: 210 lbs. •10/16 Fri: •10/23 Fri: •10/30 Fri: Some mantras I use for encouragement: •"Inch by inch, it's a cinch" •"Nothing tastes as good as thin feels"

I do it all the time. I realize I am doing it, and I still do it anyway.
