Thanks for the advice everyone. I went for a ten minute walk today in the freezing cold. Nearly killed me to go out and do it! My knees are a bit sore but I did it! It’s not much but it’s a start! ☺️

I’ve discovered grapes! If I eat a lot of them quickly I feel full and it satisfies my sugar craving. Hope that helps.

I’ve been on the FODMAP diet for 7 weeks now under the supervision of a nutritionist and I feel a lot better.

Maybe it’s just such a habit for him that he’s forgetting. It’s tempting once it’s there so it’s hard to resist it then when you see it. Maybe he just needs a gentle reminder?

Thank you everyone so, so very much. It's amazing how a bit of encouragement can help. I've started doing walking or stationary bike 3 times a week for about 30 mins. It's not much but it's a start. How do I get involved in the MFP daily challenge? Thanks again

I'm 47 and although I have a `BMI of 24 and am 5 ft 8 inches I still have a waist measurement of 38 inches. It's very depressing and as I've had early menopause (40) this hasn't helped. It's tough but persevere and you'll get there. I'm in a slump at the moment but it will get better. Please add me.

We all have bad days, it shows we are human ;-) On these days just enjoy the over eat and then start again the next day. Don't worry - you're doing great!
