  • I always run with a 2% incline on the treadmill, at 9.5kph Outside I find I run quicker, over 10kph, but have sore thigh muscles the next day. Have to remember to slow down when I'm outside ;)

  • I use endomondo, works great on the iphone. there is a free version so you can try it out to see if you like it. You can set up your own interal workouts, and it also tracks your runs by GPS. There is also a website where you can check out all your workouts. www.endomondo.com

  • I use the calories per hour calculator: http://www.caloriesperhour.com/index_burn.php Put in what exercise you did, and for how long, and it tells you the total calories burned. You can then enter it under your exercise on mfp.
  • I agree with everyone else, slow down, go at your own pace, the speed comes later. I puffed through week 1, then week 2, and am now up to puffing through week 6 ;) I have the C25k app for the iphone, the free one from Zen Labs, and its great :)
  • Mine sits quite comfortably underneath my bra, after a few minutes you forget its there, and its not noticeable :) Have the Polar FT1, cheapest of the Polar watches (i think) but does the basics, time, avg heart rate, max heart rate perfectly well.
