I usually just give into the cravings, and work out a little harder to compensate. If I keep denying myself what I want, when I do eat a meal, I might just explode and eat everything in sight.

Every time I think I've had a bad cheat day, I wind up losing more weight in the process. Like others have said, I think it's because it gives your body a nice wake-up call.

I'm so glad you posted this topic. I'm reaching my last four pounds or so of weight loss and still haven't quite grasped it. I still feel like the only fat chick in the room and it's an awful feeling. At the same time, the amount of male attention I received has increased dramatically and I have no idea how to handle it.…

I love now being able to shop in practically every store at the mall. However, affording the clothes is a whole different story...

Before I used Map My Run (an app that tracks how far and how fast you run), I would measure the path I jogged in Google Earth and enter that distance into a calculator, along with how long it took. That would give me a fair idea of my speed.

I had the same problem today. Keep an eye on when it happens during your cycle. Sorry for the TMI but I'm pretty sure it's my time for ovulation, which makes me feel really weird and I start cramping. In fact, I'm cramping as I type this. T_T

Do you exercise every day (or most days)? I was at a plateau for a while, but started exercising more frequently and the pounds started to peel off.

I think I'll make a meal out of small plates, or share something with a friend. Thanks so much guys!

Avoid the spicy mayo! Even though it's tasty. :(

My actual boobs are okay but the band size shrunk, from 42C to 38C, however, I am spilling horribly out of a C cup lol

I'd be extremely flattered.

I've had issues with spotting as well. I have lost 35 pounds in the past six months and everything began normally. But in the last few months, my periods have been preceded by "false alarms", episodes of spotting before the actual menstruation starts. I think your body needs to take time to adjust hormone levels to its new…

My boyfriend is truly my best friend. We argue a lot, but he compliments me in a way that no one else can. I am very anxious and always nervous, while he is calm and rational. He has helped me through countless challenges because of that balance.

Where do you run? I used to have bad luck on cruddy paths, but a new smooth asphalt greenway has helped me a lot. Also, I like to start out by walking and stretching before I start the actual run.

Maybe he's nervous or scared? Anyways, I think you should just tell him to leave you alone for the time being, until he's comfortable enough with himself to follow through.

It might be PMS. If not, it could be that you ate a lot of salty foods on your trip. I know from experience that foods eaten on camping trips and the like tend to be high in sodium. Hope this helps :] EDIT: woops just read your profile lol

Oh wow, everyone's suggestions are on point. IDK why I didn't think about veggies, pretzels, or popcorn. I've been on a fruit salad kick, so I'll definitely expand my options. Thank you all! :]

I was 166 on Monday, and blew up to 170 by Friday when my period started. It's very discouraging, I wonder when it'll go away.

I failed before because of sheer laziness, no support, and an unrealistic idea of what a diet was.

Wow!! You look great! :D

Go through your Facebook albums. I just compared photos of me from January to today.... holy crap, what a HUGE difference!! Also, I compared my ID photo from undergrad in 2008 to my new grad ID taken the other day, my face is MUCH slimmer.

I want to: 1. Jog from my house to City Island (a nautical community about 3 miles from my house) 2. Fit into a tight, short, revealing dress for my BF's 21st birthday party! <3

I can't believe I ate a whole box of Kraft macaroni and cheese.

MFP has been very helpful. Now I know that I'm responsible for my own choices. No more excuses :] Feel free to add me.

I'm 5"2, 166 pounds. Currently wearing a very comfortable 16, thinking about going down to 14.

I'm a grad student, kinda nervous about being healthy while juggling work and school! Feel free to add me.

A big shocker for me were the McCafe Frappes. They always made me sick and now I know why. They're like 450 calories each? What on earth do they mix them with, lard?
-
Ice cream is the WORST thing to eat when you're sick, trust me. Just go to bed and have some rest, you'll feel better in the morning.

I make ghetto soda! Take seltzer water and any of the following: - a splash of fruit punch - a splash of orange juice - lemon juice - fresh berries a little mushed up and there you have it! Instant soda with a lot less calories.

I LOVE skinny jeans. I have wide hips and an ample rear, but also abnormally thin calves for someone who would otherwise be considered fat. I'm actually kind of proud of my figure, especially since an hourglass is starting to show up. The trick to rocking them is to wear a long shirt that isn't too tight. A too-tight shirt…
