10 beers is an awful lot of calories. You would have to really restrict what you eat for the rest of the day. I think it's more efficient in terms of calories to drink hard liquor... you get more bang for your calorie buck if you just have it straight or on the rocks.

I've found that washing my plate or bowl immediately after eating keeps me from grabbing a second helping :)

I do it when I'm unable to run when the weather blows. I find that many videos exercise more muscles than just running, so I feel like it accelerated my weight loss.

I've been running outdoors for about a year and a half now, and I started in the summer of 2013. I was able to transition through the fall and eventually winter. I think my body adjusted to the cold temperatures slowly as they transitioned. I think if you are just getting into outdoor running, you're better off waiting…

Stop worrying about boys, it's not the worst thing ever if they reject you. You have your entire life to live and being single is really not a big deal.

Half a Little Caesars's pizza, McChickens for a snack, half a box of pasta ( for a 5'2" girl)...

I think I'm going to take a little bit of everyone's advice and do some variety. Thank you all soo much! :]

Thanks for your help, everyone! I'm mostly interested in using machines that can burn 300 calories for a 30-40 minute session. Ideally something that works more than just my legs. Hope that helps.

I lost over 70 pounds. I learned that my boobs were never really huge to begin with, they just had a ridiculous amount of back fat and an insanely large band size to make them look bigger. Now that my body is overall smaller, the boobs look more natural and in proportion to the rest of me. They did lose their shape,…

I go to school full time and work part time. I try to budget an hour a day for workouts, but I don't work many hours and I'm lucky that I work on campus at a job where I can do my homework if I need to.

I have a mean blister on my big toe right now. also since everyone's talking about peeing, I can't be the only one that has to do number 2 as soon as I get back from a really long run. TMI, sorry.

I would avoid salads because restaurant salads tend to have all kinds of weird calorie-laden stuff in it. Hmm... if you like beef, I would suggest the London Broil since it has a lot of protein. It's an 8 ounce serving, so you can eat half of it to get a regular portion of meat, and asparagus is good for you too! You can…

I think people tend to view calorie counting as being too difficult, even though it's free and really isn't that hard compared to spending hundreds of dollars and sustaining yourself on chemical shakes.
-
Can you post the link to the menu? I would avoid anything "encrusted", hahaha

The best thing to do is skip fast food in general, but if you absolutely have no choice or if your friends are dead set on eating at a McDonald's, there are things you can order. Their salads aren't so bad, but if you're not a salad person a simple grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo or cheese should be fine.

I never met a guy who cared either way, as long as she's nice.

You must not have been to a Manhattan Chipotle.

That doesn't sound like a good idea. Drinking with a small lunch is going to leave you reeling at the end of the day.

I'm half black, half white, graduated college on Dean's List, and I'm working on my master's. Where do I fit? o.o

I lost an Irish Setter. Wow.

my feet have shrunk massively. I was formerly a 8.5 Wide, and now I'm more of a 7-7.5 regular.

I don't think it's particularly bad, just make sure that you include it with your daily total.

Honestly, what works for me is not being too selective or critical of my choices. I eat what I like to eat, just smaller portions. I also try to pay attention to my cues, am I eating because I'm hungry or am I just bored or thirsty?
-
I think to myself, "Why the hell didn't anyone tell me how big I was?" I recall wanting to diet and having people tell me that I looked fine, though I know I didn't. I kept deluding myself with thoughts of "oh, clothes are just made small these days," or "I don't eat THAT much!" People kept lying to me and I kept lying to…

In all seriousness I do suggest toning exercises, like yoga, pilates, or squats. You want to be flexible for your honeymoon!

Hey, nice to meet a fellow 23 year old! I'm pretty sedentary too as I work and I go to class in the evenings. I've tried to squeeze in as much exercise into those longer days as possible. If your boss allows at work, when you finish a task, get up and do a walk around the office or some jumping jacks. As for your meals,…

I'm 5'2" and 23 years old, currently at 135. I find that I still have a bit of a belly, so I'm aiming for a goal of 120. I've always been extremely overweight so I honestly don't know when I've been at my best weight.

I've found that Mr. Softee soft serve ice cream isn't actually too bad. It's about 170 calories... then again, it's all chemicals.
-
I usually just give into the cravings, and work out a little harder to compensate. If I keep denying myself what I want, when I do eat a meal, I might just explode and eat everything in sight.

Every time I think I've had a bad cheat day, I wind up losing more weight in the process. Like others have said, I think it's because it gives your body a nice wake-up call.
