I calculated it on iifym

I've heard that before. Is there a rationale behind that? Why not lose it more quickly?

I feel kind of frustrated with this entire thread. All I asked for was advice on protein. I didn't ask to be criticized for my choice of processed foods. This thread was not called, "Will processed food ruin my weight loss?" Not everyone on here gives unsolicited advice, but it's still frustrating to receive it.

I actually do feel satiated with them. My work schedule is so hectic that I take three minutes to eat one and then don't really think about it and move on to my next task. There isn't any downtime to notice I'm not satiated. On weekends when I do have more time, I eat more variety. It can be a problem when I have more free…

Thanks. I feel I do have a good understanding of my relationship with food. I would just rather not post those kinds of personal details on here.

What do you mean, I won't find this time any different? I have never failed on a diet like this.

Yes, I am eating junk to avoid junk. But at least this junk has vitamins added and is high in protein and lower in sugar. It's better than 1/8th of a bakery sheet cake, or an entire large pizza. Which are things I have eaten, and end up eating when I go on a whole foods diet.. because I feel so deprived. I had a hunch when…

Thank you, I may do that! As long as it can be low calorie as well.

I switch it up by adding and subtracting one or two things. Recently I added string cheese. I also vary the flavor and brand of bar. I don't have time to eat lunch or make lunch for work, and I work 10 hour days, so bars are very easy and convenient options.

I like red and yellow peppers, yellow squash, romaine lettuce, butter lettuce, carrots (sometimes), and mushrooms. I love frozen bag mixes that come with butter sauce; I can eat peas, green beans, and broccoli when they come in those bags. I just lift weights twice a week; I'm not really following a program. I mostly just…

My extremely high-stress job makes it even harder to stick to diets. I'm grateful I'm even capable of doing this.

I've lost quite a bit of weight. I'm holding steady right now because I've been lifting weight and gaining muscle. I constantly fail at diets when I cut out foods that I like. I love protein bars and I enjoy eating sweets; I dislike most vegetables. So this works for me. The all natural, whole food diets just burn me out…

The random "quick add" calories are my diet soda and crystal light
-
Sure; I'll unlock it for a few days
-
I eat Pure Protein bars, Quest protein bars, chicken, ham, and light string cheese.

They can't be cold, otherwise they get too tough. I wish they were cheaper

Actually I went to a bar by myself for an hour and didn't get any free drinks. Oh well!

I don't get hit on very often, and have a similar figure... 5'6 and 130 pounds. If I do get hit on, it involves a lower cut top.
-
Great job! I'm in a similar situation... started around 165, am currently about 130

I like your highlights
-
Definitely not
-
Last year I was about 155 pounds. This year I am 130.
-
What do you mean, short days get cut next?
-
Either way, it's still yummy. No need to be critical about what it is called.
-
To clarify, I think 1200 calories is enough. My BMR is only 1400.
-
I am 5'6. I only burn 1700 calories a day, that's why I eat 1200

But one cup of Splenda has about 90 calories, so divided by 8, it doesn't raise the calorie amount too much
-
I just learned two days ago that Splenda can have calories. Which is ridiculous, because they advertise it as a no-calorie sweetener. >:(
