usually 5-6 on the days when i work, 9-10 on off days. But if go go to bed early enough, 8 hours are usually enough.

Fruit sugar - you should not limit.(of course, eating 30 bananas a day wont do you any good, but 3-10 fruits are ok ). I think that it is a bug, there is a big difference between processed sugar, and natural. You should limit only your BAD sugars - to ~30 g a day, and dont worry about the rest.
