  • Interesting note--one of my friends who is the same age as me (52) has never had a hot flash or night sweat. She is on thyroid medication for an underactive thyroid. I'm sure there is a connection, because your thyroid is essentially your body's thermostat. There is not enough information out there on menopause.....
  • You should try yoga. I love it---depending on the instructor, it can be very relaxing, but a good workout just the same. You might find it a nice alternative to circuit training as it strengthens and stretches your muscles at the same time. Consider it a gift to yourself, not a chore.
  • Cut out all whea/grains and all dairy for a few weeks and see what happens. Those items could be causing your GERD. Cut way back on carbs, especially sugar and increase lean protein and vegetables. Good luck to you on your journey. Don't give up.
