Really truly inspirational, written like an absolute pro! Thank you for sharing.

That's an awesome pace! I agree with the others aim for about 55mins, If you do as you do for your 5km, have a drink before you should be fine. I find having a drink part way quite off putting, and don't think you need it for 10km. Good luck, and enjoy!

I'm having exactly the same, fruit and carbs are all I want, I think because they help to settle that sick feeling, at least for a wee while. I think you should force down a bit of protein, even though the thought of it makes me feel seriously ill I have found that I can make myself eat it, the actual eating is not as bad…

Thank you for the hugs. JillSandm - I forgot what the doctor called it pretty much as soon as she said it! But that sounds about right, she said it was bleeding coming from behind the gestational sac, they couldn't see where the bleed had come from which suggested it had healed, which is really good news and that in most…

I've had the craziest 24 hours ever! I am my son's soccer team's coach. Yesterday was training and before going I was a bit wary, you know the no running thing, but I figured I can tell them what to do I shouldn't 'need' to demonstrate too much and shouldn't need to run. And I didn't really, I did a fair bit of dribbling…

JillSandm - Big hugs. I'm not sure exactly what low progesterone means, and assume the prometrium is a progesterone supplement. I hope al is well. Big hugs. Thank you ladies for the exercise support. I suppose the issue is that my main exercise was running and have been told I can't run after spotting after a run, so I…

Oh man ... exercise for me has come to a total standstill, I just don't feel like I have the energy for it ... how's every one else doing. I need some motivation ... someone motivate me PLEASE!!! Also my cravings are ALL carbs, I've been craving baked potatoes for like 4 days now, I could live solely on baked potatoes ...…

Wow! That's quite a stash! I love cloth nappies! I used cloth nappies for my two children, and will do for this one too. I bought unisex ones for my first, but when number 2 was a girl I bought lots more 'pretty' girly nappies, it can be quite addictive! I have to say pretty cloth nappies look fabulous under baby dresses,…

For my last two pregnancies I told my close family and friends straight away. I figured if anything went wrong, I'd need their love and support. This time I'm a little more wary, oddly I feel a bit like I've been naughty getting pregnant at almost 39 years old, when I already have 2 children!? Also I'm concerned that I'm…

Hi yummy mummies to be! I found out I'm pregnant on Sunday (EDD 7th March), bit of a shock, but a pleasant one once the dust settled! I have two kids 6yrs and 4yrs, and will be turning 39 on Friday .... I reckon that makes me of advanced maternal age too!! This one was conceived in a moment of madness a few weeks ago when…

My protein powder (EAS Whey) says consult doctor before taking if pregnant or breastfeeding, which kind of gives the impression it's probably OK! I haven't been taking it, but it was on my list to ask midwife!! Livestrong website gives the impression it's a good idea, and may stave off odd cravings/ tiredness etc.…

3rd baby for me too, been an emotional rollercoaster since finding out on Sunday ... can we afford this? What will happen to my lovely job share position? How will I find time for the other two? Then I went out for a run on Monday, and when I got home I had spotting, that changed my perspective A LOT and QUICKLY! Midwife…

Wow! Really inspirational, thank you for sharing. You looked so fit and toned, well done.

Agree with Yarwell - low carb high fat all the way! Try to keep to 'good' fats, and you'll do great. I've just started this too, and I'm loving how I feel! I do miss the carbs, like I feel like something is missing from my meals, but I'm getting there!

I don't seem to have a link to the new group! Can someone add me please! I'm going to share my day here, started well, went for an early swim, which was tough as I haven't been swimming for AGES (almost 2 weeks! LOL)! I had a good breakfast and lunch, then we went out for the day for my friend's little girls birthday. She…

Happy New Year Loserville! I'll whip us up a spreadsheet with all members on this evening, what's our challenge going to be for the first week? I'd be keen on a big burn challenge (either who can burn the most calories or aim to burn 3500?), as I feel like that's what I need to do right now!! Name: Rach, Rachel, Rachy Age:…

Happy New Year! I'm back ... we had family here for Christmas, then headed off camping, just got back. I've done a bit of exercise, but eaten sooooo much crap it's untrue. I'm not looking forward to weighing in, but it needs to be done. My goals atm are to log everything, eat sensibly and exercise ... sounds simple enough…

Good idea Jenn, I might do that, I've been off the wagon the last two days ... and I hate myself for it ... I'm always growling at myself. I either need to let myself enjoy the silly season, or I need to stay on track! Still exercising, but man I'm eating CRAP!
