It's not for me, I embrace my body and my hormones. My husband and I waited for a while but it wasn't by choice...we were stuck in other countries and I was pregnant when we got married. I think maintaining a healthy sex life is important for a relationship. For those who say they are old fashioned and born to another time…

I tend to weigh myself at least nice a day, sometimes multiple times a day. I have an unhealthy obsession with numbers. He made me move it because I did have the scale in front of the refrigerator so I would think twice about if I was really hungry or not. It worked for me but I understand that a lot of people see that as…

I am here to tell you that it can be done, I had insulin resistant PCOS, I was diagnosed at 14 and I was told that life would give me some challenges. I never worried too much about my weight until I was 20 years old and weight 199.6lbs I couldn't believe I weighed that much!! I learned quickly that carbs were not my…

I was diagnosed when I was 14 YO which was 15 years ago. I struggled more when I was around 20, I was on metformin and the whole bit. I lost 60lbs and it was one hell of a journey, I got healthy enough to have a baby and now my hormones have once again ruined my body. I am once again battling to get the weight off so I can…

I am 13 months post prego and it is driving me nuts that I haven't lost of the baby weight by now. I am at 178 and I need to lose at least 30lbs. I was at 206 when I had my son, I still have some major hormone issues but I am not going to use it as an excuses anymore. It is time to get committed!!

I am one year post pregnancy and struggling. As soon as I has my son my body failed me, I went into menopause at 28, my thyroid shut down and cortisol skyrocketed. I gained weight from all of the above as well as having the stress of having a sick baby, emergency c section and ruptured sutures. I wish it would have been…

I have breast implants which makes bra shopping a pain in the *kitten*. I have only found one brand(Fredericks of Hollywood) that fits fake boobs. I don't have the "side boob so normal bras are just baggy there and my boobs tend to fall out of the top of any bra when I bend over. I live in Canada and have to have a family…

I took a break for a whopping 6 days and gained a total of 14lbs!!! You would have thought I went to buffets for every meal but I didn't. I thought I was eating smart and just having a slight break....not at all, 8lbs was water weight but I still held on to 6lbs and I will never take a break again!!!

Thank for the info, I may try to do that as well. We moved to Canada so I could reduce stress from working constantly and my husband and I switch roles, he used to be the stay at home daddy. I want to use this time wisely because I'm sure I will be back to work in a year. I used to take metformin to regulate my insulin…
