I have and carry a rescue inhaler in case of emergency..( I am also on two inhalers and one pill) that I take daily to keep it at bay. Mine manifests itself as coughing but also as tightness in chest and throat, and very short of breath, It also depends on the exercise.. I can run 5 miles in cooler weather without using my…

I would say it depends. I am also asthmatic and i can go for 6-8 mile runs and never need my inhaler and on other days after one mile I desperately need it. Usually things like humidty, air quality, allergies, a cold, and so forth can trigger an attack one day and nothing the next day. My asthma is exercise, allergy and…

I have banned icecream from my house..:) and getting enough rest is just as important I learned that the hard way :) We WILL do this.

I get my running (or dvd's on non run days) in at 4:30am otherwise it may not get done:) with my schedule once I am at work there is no telling when I will get home so as hard as it is, for me its just best for me to get up early and get it over with, plus I do a bootcamp workout in the park on Saturday mornings at 6:30am…

I run 4-5 days a week, usually at the end of my run I do a 10-12 circuit from bodyrock.tv.. those are tough but they (along with adding veggies, have helped break a 6 month plateau, right now I am doing Chalean Xtreme 2 days a week with a friend and we are in the Lean phase with 2 more weeks to go, once that's over we are…

I am a morning exerciser. I am up and running by 4:30am and it's not by choice and I hate it :) but it benefits me in so many ways, I have asthma and morning runs when its cooler (especially in TX) and less humid are best for me; with my schedule there are days if I don't exercise in the morning it will not get done; I am…

I confess ... yes I have eaten pints of ...... Bryers Newyork Style Strawberry Cheesecake Icecream (without the cheesecake chunks don't like em) AND Ben and Jerry's Cherry Garcia. They have both since been banned from my house (well at least for a while until I learn self control around them..:):)

I find that mine varies also by the terrain, I usually run for an hour most days, if I run my flat terrain, I will burn between 600-700 calories depending on the intensity of my run, but when I do my hill runs like I did on Monday where I did 6 miles and 8 hills, I burned 1043 calories in 73 minutes. I used a HR monitor…

I am a single mom to a 16 year old and as hard as it is, I get up very..very early in the morning to get my hour of exercise in, for my evening workouts I either do it as soon as i walk in the door from work or if she has practice i will do a short workout while she is at practice before I go pick her up. For meals, I try…

Don't be discouraged, you didn't gain two pounds in 24hours, it's most likely that you are retaining water, be careful of your sodium intake as that can cause you to retain water, if you are lifting weights, that can also cause water retention as the muscle tissue repairs itself. Just keep your head up and keep looking…

My daughter is 16, she runs track and cross country and recently started doing the long jump for field events at school. When we are home, she is always outside playing flag football or running around with the other kids on the street... I love it that she stays so active at her age, instead of being inside watching TV.…

I log the workouts in as circuit training. some of the workouts you will use weights, or a medicine ball, or stability ball etc and you repeat the circuit twice.

Single mom here to a 16 year old, have been since she was 6. :) she is a great kid and proud to say she is adopting the healthy lifestyle with me. She runs track and cross country and has started reading labels on food and not eating as much sweets. But she still loves her frosted flakes.. :):)

Outside for me, I run on treadmills only as a last resort as they tend to hurt my knees and I get bored. I love the sensation of moving with the purpose of going somewhere when I am running and the changing scenery ... :):)

I've been using it for over two years .. love it, use it at least 3-5 days a week depending on my running schedule. Started with the ipod and now use the Nike+GPS on my iphone4.

I don't have the *****cat doll workout, saw a clip of it on collagevideo and it didn't grab my interest. As for workout dvd.. I am proud? slightly sheepish to admit that at last count I have 153 exercise dvd's... I had to make a spreadsheet on my computer so I can keep track. I love foraging at goodwill, and half price…

I am a single mom with a just turned 16 year old but we only have one car (to her horror) so I am the taxi driver, I also work full time; I am not a morning person.. I mean I hate mornings with a passion so there's no explaining why for the past three years I have been getting up between 4:15 and 4:30am to get my workouts…

I would say that if you have entered in your information correctly then it could be right depending upon, your height (a) how much you weigh; (b) how much you have to lose; (c) the pace at which you walked and how high your HR got up to during the walk; (d) the terrain you are walking, if you walk in areas where you are…

A group of us are actually doing a sugar challenge right now and I will say it has opened our eyes as to how much sugar there is in EVERYTHING. We don't count the natural sugar that comes from vegetables and fruits, what we are concentrating on is the un-natural sugar that we add to our foods or that are added for us in…

You Can do it!!, that's over a year away. The only unrealistic goal is the one never set! Good luck.

It depends on what your body is telling you. I have had a terrible one that left my left leg bruised and I couldn't workout out for 2 days because of soreness/pain in the muscles and I kept getting smaller ones especially when walking up stairs for at least a few days after the major one. Listen to what your body it…
