YES. I eat like I'm still going to the gym and it doesn't work that way... in a perfect world it would. I feel so confident in my new body I treat myself to rich foods, thinking "I'll work it off tomorrow" and tomorrow comes and I look at myself and go, "nah, my body's good."

Other alternatives to brown rice are quinoa and couscous which are both really good. You can try either of them as a cold salad from the Safeway deli if you live in North America. Most grocery stores sell them in boxes, as well too. But as with anything healthy or alternative, it's more expensive than white rice.

You can totally do this! So you gave up for 6 months, it's so easy (like you said) to give up. It's harder to get started... and now you've done it /twice/! You're back on track now, and you're still 12 lbs under what you originally started with!

Go you! The 30 Day Shred is a kick *kitten* work out! Stick with it, it's totally worth it. You start seeing (and feeling) a difference in about 3-5 days. The sore kicks in around day 2 though!
